Dr. Deirdre Connolly, MD

I've been to many Doctors in my 74 years. For more than a dozen years I have been a patient of Dr. Deidre Connolly. She is easy to talk with and I have shared many laughs with her. Dr. Connolly is a very good listener and knows the right questions to ask regarding my health issues. The office staff has been very helpful and pleasant to deal with both on the phone and in person. Did not wait long, The staff is curious and friendly always, I have been seeing Dr Connolly for approximately 18 years, and find her to be thorough and attentive, and compassionate always, listens to what I have to say, and acts accordingly if I need tests done. I like my Dr and the whole Staff. Thank You for all You do!

I have been going to Dr. Connolly for a long time now and she has always been responsive to my needs as a patient. Also, when I see her for my annual physical, she always makes sure to connect with me on a personal level, asking about my job, family, life, etc. I don't get that "rushed through" feeling like you're a patient "number of the day" that you can get with managed care. Dr. Connolly goes above and beyond for her patients. For example, I wanted a prescription for a sleeping pill and despite the fact that she was working from home with covid, she made sure to call in to the pharmacy before the weekend so I could get some sleep! I can't say enough about her!!! If you have serious medical issues and need constant attention with scheduling appointments, lab results, return phone calls, etc. then maybe she's not for you. But if you are a reasonably healthy person, you will be very satisfied with the quality of care you receive from her.

Dr Connolly had been my mom’s doctor for many years. As caregiver now for my elderly mom, I have had many interactions with Dr Connolly. She has gone above and beyond helping us navigate through numerous health issues, and now helping us with compassionate end of life care as my mom has entered hospice. Dr Connolly returns calls quickly, spends as much time as we have needed explaining things, listening to our concerns, and helping us navigate tests and decisions. She even offered to make a home visit if we needed one. What other doctor in this day and age has ever offered to do that for her patients? Her office staff has been very kind, and they have always been on top of scheduling tests and contacting us with updates. I really couldn’t express more, my thankfulness for Dr Connolly and her staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This doctor is indifferent and unresponsive. I had three major experiences in past two years where I would be concerned about my lab reports or diagnostic tests, would call the office, wait for two to three days after being told by the front desk staff that doctor would call me back in 24 hours. Then I call second time and the same story repeats. Sometimes after two calls, a nurse would call me back with some answer but never the doctor. Then my latest experience had become the last straw and I ended up switching to a new physician. I had a diagnostic test done last year which showed some abnormalities and as usual, I hadn't received any call from the doctor's office. Then this year, she repeated the same test after realizing she overlooked the last year's result but same pattern of not returning calls continued.I can not tell how frustrating it is to deal with this doctor. She doesn't address patient's concerns and doesn't return phone calls. Poor service and a lot of apathy!

Dr. Connolly is an awesome dr. She is empathetic, compassionate and understanding. She will listen and makes sure that you are part of the decisions that effect you. Some people have a hard time with her, but I don’t if you get to know her and are open and honest with her she will take good care of you. I can be myself and be brutally honest with her and I know that she is on my side. Thanks Dr. Connolly for being you!

Dr Connelly is smart, caring and she is a good Listener. She referred me to a specialist for surgery that saved my life. I have complete trust in her . She is wonderful.

Dr. Connolly is thorough, smart, and caring. I've been a nurse since 1980. I've worked with alot of doctors in my life. And I know what a good doctor looks like. She's it, the one I want on my side. SGW Lowell.

Dr. Connolly is amazing. She takes her time with you. You won't feel like you're being rushed! She's a great listener! She makes you feel so comfortable. I recommend her to anyone. Been a patient for close to 20 years. Love her! She is very thorough, attentive & caring. Best there is. Down to earth & so understanding.

Dr. Connolly has been my PCP for about 5 years. She has always gone above and beyond to treat my complex medical needs. She has not only recommended various specialists (at least 5 from 3 different hospitals) but she keeps abreast of it ALL. On more than one occasion she visited me in the hospital just to say hi and ask how I was doing. I would and have recommended Dr. Connolly to family & friends and they were pleased with her care. Dr. Connolly's staff is always friendly & helpful.

Dr. Connolly and her staff are well deserving of a 5 star rating. Dr. Connolly has saved my life twice, and has jumped through many hoops to get testing, diagnosis, impossible insurance requests, and tireless effort on her part and her entire staff for a challenging patient. Her team worked flawlessly to save my life this week, as I present with a multitude of health issues, I consider these people my heroes.
