Poor bedside manner. Does not look you in the eye when speaking and speaks over you. Absolutely no compassion and was overall a very uncomfortable atmosphere.

I can’t even believe some of these reviews I’m reading. I started seeing Dr Rizos about 6 years ago. Prior to my first appointment with him, he not only reviewed but studied my previous health records (which were quite lengthy). He knew everything about me before I even showed. Since then, he’s been nothing less than amazing not only from a health perspective but from an emotional & mental standpoint. I can honestly say that he’s saved my life. He has to be one of the most compassionate & personable Doctors that I’ve been blessed to have and I’m 60 years old so I’ve had a few other doctors throughout my life. As far as medical knowledge goes, I find him to be nothing less than brilliant. I do just have to say that we unfortunately live in a day in age that when someone has a good experience, we smile & go about our merry way but if we’re unhappy for what ever reason, we just can’t wait to go on line & roast someone. I highly recommend Dr Rizos & you’d be lucky to have him!!

Dr. Rizos was nothing short of super. Going through renal failure was difficult for me, fortunately Dr. Rizos was there. The fact than I am still around, 10 years later, and doing incredibly well, I ascribe to no small fact that Demetri was there for me those years ago. Amongst a whole lot of other (above and beyond) things, he bent over backwards to coordinate with my new Transplant Coordinator when I was able to move home to Albuquerque, New Mexico Thank you!

Patient BEWARE Dr Rizos is not a good doctor. If your an independent woman He is a male Chauvinist He does not do his homework for you. He tell what he know and assumes your insurance will not cover the bill. The communication is bad in this office. He does not like to be told what you know is right. He is not compassionate at all. Works against you. Very uncomfortable doctor. I do not recommended Dr. Rizos I hope this info help's the next patient so you don't waist your time.

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Doesn't look you in the eye. Doesn't listen to a word you say, and assumes that you have a certain illness without having any reason to assume so. I recently went and he wanted me to get a blood test and ex ray done. Never called me with resuults, so I called him and all he kept saying was "there's no red flags here", and "everything's looking good". Wasn't able to actually give me a reason for why I was sick. Doesn't care about his patients, just wants their money

Our former physician retired so I went on line to research a possible replacement. I was very pleased with what I learned about this excellent physician. He is thorough, knowledgeable, attentive, and sincere. He doesn't mince words and doesn't hesitate to refer a patient to a specialist if he feels it's necessary. That is a sure sign that he sincerely cares and isn't an egoist. He treats me and my husband. He is a jewel. I respect his knowledge and experience.

I went to Dr. Rizos with a laundry list of issues (mostly all stemming from depression, so I hadn't been taking care of myself in a long time). He helped me get back on my feet and got me feeling normal again. He was sincere, friendly, and compassionate. He's a good person and a good doctor.

Patient beware, office may overcharge or order unnecessary procedures. They apparently do an EKG along with yearly check up for everyone over 30. The procedure is, according to medical consensus, unnecessary in the absence of symptoms and it's often not covered by insurance. I was never given the option to opt out and, after getting the bill, the manager suggested if I'm unhappy I should use a different practice. Also sent me to a lab not covered by my insurance.
