Dr. Denis Grillo, DO

Dr. Grillo is kind, intelligent and truly engaged with your over all health. He is knowledgeable in his Field as an ENT, thoroughly explaining every aspect of your visit! I have recommended him to countless people at our Parish and in our Neighborhood. If there were a way to give him 10 STARS... I would not hesitate!

First of all, it's frustrating to fill all new patient paperwork and then no one looks at it. Both the nurse and Dr. Grillo spent quite a bit of time reviewing it all. He listened to me when I needed to explain something. He was very thorough in his explanations and made sure I had all my questions answered. He says it like it is, which I appreciate. I have since recommended him to others. He's great.

I receive treatment from this doctor a few months ago. I have never left a review before now but I thought I really needed to go back and leave a review about this doctor. I went to see this doctor for sinus infections and because I was having vertigo. I filled out all the appropriate paperwork they wanted before going in to my visit . I must’ve asked this doctor multiple times during the visit why I keep getting vertigo and he would not discuss that with me. He said we will discuss it later. But at the end of the visit he told me that’s not why I was in there and I would need to fill out additional paperwork for vertigo and come back and see him. I had already filled out that paperwork but secretary didn’t put it in my file. He was also quite rude. I’m sure this doctor doesn’t realize that some of us have a large deductible, and that every office visit cost us. My visit was over a couple hundred dollars and I’m still getting vertigo and need to see another doctor.

My husband has been suffering with an ear infection for almost three weeks. One visit to a walk in, second visit to the ER at Seven Rivers where they told him to schedule a visit with an ENT Dr Grillo and a third visit to his primary, who told him to wait another week before they would give him a referral. He has been in pain and unable to get a good night sleep. Our insurance lists Dr Grillo as a provider and accepting new patients. So he called today and was told he HAD to have a referral, after all , HE IS THE ONLY ENT IN THE AREA. As of today the earliest appointment was June 28 if he got a referral. How rude!! Called Ocala and got an appointment.

Wonderful doctor. He listens. Exam is thorough. His questions are detailed and his conclusions are spot on. I highly recommend Dr. Grillo.

HE DID NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH MY EAR SO IWENT TO A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR AND WAS GIVEN 7 DAYS OF ANTIBIOTICS AND EAR DROPS WHICH CURED THE PAIN EAR INFECTION AND HEADACHES. OTHER WISE HE WAS VERY NICE AND THROUGH. COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HE COULDNT FIND IT. IT WAS THERE AND CAUSING HEADACHES AND IT WAS DEEP IN MY HEAD CAUSE I HAD PAIN IN MY SCULL BEHIND THE EAR AND DOWN MY NECK

After witnessing him berate his staff on more than one occasion I should not have been surprised he would do it to me. But he did.

I received a callback today from Teresa at Dr. Grillo's office saying they no longer took my insurance, this was fine. I like Dr Grillo very much and asked if I paid cash could Dr Grillo see my as an urgent issue relating to my ear which is painful and the pain is travelling down the side of my face? I was told I could not pay cash and would have to go through an insurance company. This took me by surprise because what does it matter if I'm paying cash or going through an insurance company?
