I had a back stimulator put in and he explained step-by-step step-by-step through the entire procedure. I feel very comfortable and I’m pretty sure this procedure is going to help me with my pain.

Dr Patterson is a really good, excellent physician
The most terrible experience of my life due to Staff at Reno NV Advanced pain APNAlex Beau, APN M.A. OSN UNR or, 'Mr White Powder'; who simply cannot bother to show up to his appointments without canceling them, no matter HOW MUCH PAIN YOU ARE IN AND DOESNT EVEN BOTHER TO RESCHEDULE YOU or call you back! based on the fact, the Ski slopes are Alex's patients.I have spent half the day trying to get Advanced pain to reschedul when they UNSCEDULED ME!!!e; but, they just ignore you. Because, I have been in a back pain level of # 9 for the last two days, after Surgery with their Office. I am waiting to call the ON CALL Doctor as they are the ONLY that answerFrankly, I really think the higher care clinicians, are truly on a sugar high. They just dont seem to think, anyone but the techs, schedulers and other 'low level' workers, exist to do their resheduling for them...and, take the heat off. But, unless, you prefer seeing a MA instead of a 'APN' haha then you are at the 'right' place.

How many ablasions have you done?
The procedure was so painful, I cried almost the whole time Dr. Patterson worked on me. I've had several ablasions performed in the past by a different pain specialist, and Never felt so much pain. Things weren't explained through the process, and one of the techs even asked if this was my first ablasion! Don't you read your patient's file? These guys won't be sticking needles in my spine ever again!

Patient for at least 15 years
Today l had a S1 injection with no pain to see if the new procedure the Torq or Bloc will help with my current S1 low back pain. I’ve had a neurostimulator for 10 years.I have the Aurora Zip done in my spine.I’ve had ablations, steroid injections.Dr Patterson is a caring Dr who fights for his patients, always researching for the best options to keep you off medications and helping you to feel the best he can.I was on pain meds, not anymore. I walk with less pain. I sleep better. Dr Patterson always helps you and will always do what’s right. Thank you for all the years Dr Patterson, your staff and Jeff!!

Excellent treatment
When I first walked into my apt to get checked in, the receptionist welcomed me with a gleaming smile and a hello. When I was called back I was welcomed by Nino. She was super sweet, caring and gentle. My procedure with Dr. Patterson went super quick and smooth. Him and Nino were very comforting and eased my nerves about the procedure. I will most definitely come back for my next procedure. The staff are very compassionate, understanding and listen to my pains and concerns.

Have never seen Dr. Patterson in the office, only at schedules procedures. First PA I saw when Dr. Patterson took over had a thick accent very difficult to understand her explanation of what was next for me, have not seen her since first visit. Finding it difficult to get people to call me back with questions I have. Sort of frustrating to me.

I had my second SI ablation with Dr. Patterson this morning. He is always prompt, upbeat, explains anything I want to know, and does a fantastic job with minimal pain involved. I feel quite comfortable and at ease in his care. I am so very grateful that I get to be treated by and work with Dr. Patterson and everyone else at Nevada Advanced Pain Specialists. Dr. Jenson, who is beginning to work with Dr. Patterson, is just as fantastic as the rest of the staff. He’s a great fit!

Dr Patterson, Melissa, Ace & Jen are the finest in the pain management field. After many years of spine & shoulder issues I have seen dozens of pain docs. Dr. Patterson and his entire team are always professional & doing what’s right both for the patient and what’s considered high integrity medical practices. After a spine fusion I was left with immense nerve damage and pain occurring daily after about three hours on my feet. Upon Dr Patterson’s recommendation I had an Abbott Spine Stimulyator implanted and it changed my life. Prior to surgery each day involved pain medication to simply walk & Now I am now pain med free. I can now participate in nearly all sports and stay on my feet in excess of 12 hours a day. I think it also bears mentioning Jeff Scheneman with Abbott who was amazing in preparing me for my stimulator & multiple follow ups after the procedure. Thank you to Dr. Patterson, Melissa Delamora and the entire team for keeping me active & pain free.

Terrible!! worst doctor I've ever had. Pain specialist?? that is a joke. Absolute worst bedside manner. Their office does not answer the phone you can never reach anyone to answer your questions. I would never ever go back to him again. This is my experience. I would steer clear. I now have to start looking for a new pain specialist that actually cares.

Patterson is described, as a person, very accurately, as a machine, does not listen to his patients, and makes one feel guilty, ashamed, and as if you, the patient are the uncooperative one. He put me through so many loops in the 8 or 9 months that I went to him: Told me to have a sleep study, required my MD primary care physician (who has been my dr. For 14 years) to write a letter to him to "justify" his prescribing a particular med to me. He badgered me & both Drs.-WORST dr ever!!!!!!!
