Very thorough and professional
I’ve had bilateral plantar fasciitis for several years. I’ve seen three providers for this. She was the first to do X-rays which revealed several bone spurs as well.

Wasted my $35.00 copay. After 10 minutes explaining plantar fasciitis and an achillies issue to her Assistant, she comes in asking, what she can do for me today? Maybe examine my feet? I am at a podiatry office. Injection, achillies brace, meds...ect? I felt like she wanted me to tell her what I wanted not her telling me what is the best treatment. No x-ray, no plan of care? I felt like she was feeling like I was wasting her time. Don't worry...I won't be back. Wish I could have given my copay to her Medical Assistant.

I was very disappointed during my first visit a Cape Fear Podiatry. Dr. Denise Thomas was a horrible representation of what this practice should stand for. I am a Diabetic patience who is suffering from leg and foot pain. This is all accompanied by severe swelling and numbness. When I explained my situation to the Dr. She wasn't receptive. The Dr. simple told me to drink more water and get some compression socks. Even my primary care physician wants me to get a second opinion, and was concerned.

I give no stars. She is very childish. When making your concerns known, she makes faces, rolls her eyes. She also interrupts you along with mouthing words to her nurses.

I would like to thank Dr. Denise Thomas for her excellent sugical skills and post operative care provided during my recovery of my ankle surgery. Your professional attitude and patience with me in answering all my questions and concerns was very much appreciated. I took your advice and completed physical therapy and now I'm able to exercise again and wear two inch heals with no pain. Thank you again!
