Dr. Dennis Dewey, MD

I absolutely hate the thought of him retiring! I completely trust him and he has always been available to me when needed. And with Multiple Sclerosis you never know when that will be! I just found out yesterday that St. Vincent/Assention is letting go of the only two Neurologist they have! They feel they are not needed!!! What about the 1000's of patients that need them. Well I will be following Dr. Dewey where he goes because he's important to me and many many more!!!

He seemed matter-of-fact; Would have appreciated more encouragement.

I was a new patient to Dr. Dewey. If feel that he listened to me about my symptoms. He did an exam and based on that there is nothing concerning going on. He is being thorough and sending me for other testing to cover all basis.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Dewey. I really like him he was very through . He made me feel like he really cared. Could tell he very knowledgeable in his field. Looking forward to working with him.

Dr. Dewey is beyond compare, the best. I left a review last week as I was to see with him once again but prior to doing so we were made aware that St. Vincent’s no longer allows a second opinion, which in such a critical moment is unthought of. In my situation it was not as it appeared due to my family practitioner making my appts. for me. I had thought the first neurologist appt. was with Dr. Dewey, however it was not, it was with another neurologist. Being that Dr. Dewey is the only neurologist in my profile, I expected to see him. Nonetheless I was not able to seek his opinion or assessment, this has added another layer of stress to the complications of the injury sustained. As an ordained minister I am left without words to express what faith has deeply embedded within me for the reasoning behind such ethical positioning in regards to the highest good of another’s wellbeing, though this is not the fault of Dr. Dewey or his staff. I pray St. Vincent’s reconsiders such revocation.

Dr Dewey is thorough, doesn't rush you with things you need to talk about, and friendly.

Very pleasant and more than what I expected for the first visit. Being as thorough it's hard for me to meet me people especially doctors Dr. Dewey made me feel comfortable and that he really cares about his patients as real people and not just job to do.

Dr Dewey has been my doctor for 23 years. I moved from the Orange Park area 14 years ago to another state but I wouldn't ever think of changing doctors. As far as I am concerned he is the best.

This Doctor was truly a pleasant surprise when he appeared in his doorway and called each and every patient into the back office personally. He is extremely professional in every aspect and I am grateful to have found a Doctor that listens to me, works with me and his staff is equally competent as well.
