Dr. Dennis Fernandez, MD

Highly recommend excellent doctor and staff I have seen Dr. Fernandez for several issues this man has saved my life not only three times but four times altogether absolutely amazing along with his incredible staff makes you feel more like a family member instead of a patient takes time to hear your needs and determined to resolve your issue

Dr. Fernandez was awful. I have never experienced the type of treatment I received from this guy. He did not listen to nor believe my description of the pain I've been experiencing. He was not 'convinced' I was in pain and suggested I take a supplement to cure my pain. The supplement he suggested has sent me to the emergency room multiple times, but he didn't want to hear it nor understand as I tried to explain. I've never cried leaving a doctor's office before, but that changed thanks to him. He may be a great surgeon but, I will NEVER recommend him to ANYONE! I will just have to live with it, I've gone this long. I don't want to risk another doctor doing the same thing.

He spent 15 minutes with my 86.5 yr Mom. Told her that she would die. Put her on a regular floor- she was stable - came back the next morning- told her she would die. Mom was stable. She agrietó the 8 hour surgery- he got her history wrong ( systemic sclerosis is not sarcoid ) She did not refuse re anastomoses- she kept her original Colonoscopy instead of fecal incontinence. She died 44 days later from dehydration 2nd to the illeostomy that he performed Arrogant. Man

When I went in to be seen for an infected abcess at Dr. Fernandez's office, his staff were very kind and answered all my questions and concerns. I called back many times with different concerns and someone was always available to help answer the questions I had. When it came to actually seeing Dr. Fernandez at his clinic, he came in and looked at my abcess and determined it was a "spider bite", which I seriously doubt. In any event, Dr. Fernandez was in and out so quick I barely had a chance to read his name tag, if he even had one. He did not take time to explain to me what was going on other than to say it looked like a spider bite. He started to walk out of the room and I tried to stop him because i had been in severe pain. I was under the impression the abcess draining was going to be done that day in his clinic so I was confused when he started to leave. I tried to ask him and he didn't explain anything - he kind of blew me off and left. Upsetting. His assistant had to explain.

I'm going in for my second surgery with Dr. Fernandez and I know that I'm in the best hands other than God's hands.

He is a total professional, with his patience his ultimate focus. His bed side manors were exceptional. Pre-op and operating room team lead by Dr Fernandez was totally outstanding, making me feel I could be in no better hands. I would put myself and my family’s procedure in Dr Fernandez’s hands. I believe he is a cut above.

I trusted him 6 years ago with my major surgeries an I chose him again with more major surgeries. His staff is amazing an he truly cares about his patients.

I trust Dr. Fernandez with my past and future surgeries. I have recommended to others on his expertise and his bedside manners. Dr. Fernandez takes as much time as needed with his patients. An added bonus is his staff kudos to them all. They have always gotten back to me asap on appt.

Had two surgeries and both went very well. He listened to my concerns. I have recommended him to friends and will continue to do so. His staff is also great and very helpful.

Dr. Dennis Fernandez and his staff are very friendly and easy to work with. I had hernia surgery In October 2016 and everything went great! Dr. Fernandez has an awesome bedside manner and was always very thorough in answering all of my questions. His nurse Kristy went above and beyond to take my calls or call me back and I always felt like I mattered - never rushed! I would definitely recommend Dr. Dennis Fernandez and his staff for your surgery needs!

Took time and sat down to answer my questions and after I left I remembered more questions I had and the nurse called me back within a couple of hours and answered all of them and didn't seem rushed to get off the phone!

I had a great experience with Dr Fernandez and his staff. They took the time to listen to my issues and were very attentive. My surgery went very well. I definitely recommend him if you need consultation or you may need surgery.

Dr. Fernandez did hernia surgery on May 2 2016. We had two in depth consultations with him and his staff prior to selecting a date for the surgery. He explained every step of the procedure and answered every question posed by my wife and myself. After the surgery he explained to my wife how things went using pictures taken during the operation.

Dr. Fernandez has a wonderful bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. My surgery went great and I healed wonderfully!!!! His staff is so nice and friendly. I love his nurse too! They are all so caring and care about you!! He takes time to answer all your questions and explains everything well. I can't say enough good things about them!! I highly recommend!!!
