Dr. Dennis O'Connell, DO

Dr. O'Connell and his staff are the best. I have retinal problems and macular degeneration, and he has really helped me with these conditions. He's friendly and has a good sense of humor. His traveling staff is wonderful.

I have never written a review before but my experience with Dr. O'Connell and his staff was so exceptional, I felt compelled to do so. I was referred to Dr. O'Connell for a detached retina reattachment surgery. This was at 3:30 and I had a two hour drive to get there. He and his staff stayed open to take me as a patient. Dr. O'Connell explained my options and in doing so he gained my trust. I am 10 day post surgery and can not be happier. Thank you Dr. O'Connell and your wonderful staff for such great care and apparent dedication to eye sight. It is appreciated.

My husband was referred to Dr. O'Connell. I tell you everything has been so great from the Receptionist to the back office. My husband had Laser Surgery on his left eye and he is so excited that he could see again! Which is a true blessing? He is so happy with the service he has received. Kimberly Obrien the receptionist has been nothing but awesome and very helpful and very knowledgeable as well. She is always smiling from the minute we walk in until the minute we leave. Love it! Dr. O'Connell inspires trust and confidence with his careful diagnoses and explanations of what he's doing and why. I had no concerns trusting my torn retina to him and it's healing well. He scheduled emergency surgery very quickly. His office is efficient and the staff friendly. There are three areas of improvement I found: 1) Loaning equipment to support face-down recovery experience 2) Offering patients eye patches for over-the-glasses wear 3) Clearer and more complete post-op instruction

I have been seeing Doctor O'Connell for several years. He has treated me through torn retina repairs and general visits for my vision care! I have great trust in him and as of today he will be seeing my husband for cataract surgery. I know Curtis will get the best possible care.

I live 100 miles from Denver and while in Denver this last week, I was experiencing some flashes and called Dr. O'Connell's office. I had seen him a few months earlier for the same symptoms of a lesser degree. He was scheduled the whole day, but squeezed me in for a quick check.
