Best all-around Doctor I have ever had.

The front desk was a war zone. I couldn't get prescription refills or any other service for my father without a major fight. They consistently made every step as difficult as they possibly could. Checking in would be impossible for any older person with a long and complicated electronic form. I took my depressed dad with Alzheimer's there. He got his blood pressure checked. The doctor didn't have any interest in discussing his psychiatric issues. The nurses were fine. They were nice. Because of the other negatives I wouldn't recommend this practice to anybody.

I showed up early, as requested. The receptionist was too busy chatting to the person in front of me about a picture on the wall to get me checked in. I was then kept waiting in the waiting room until about 15 min after my appointment time, had the most brief and incomplete health history taken by an assistant who seemed super rushed (how were they so behind at 8 am???) When I finally saw the doctor we were approaching 45 min after my appointment time. I told the dr I didn’t think it was a fit because I didn’t feel my time was respected and the non secular decor in the reception area (the Xmas tree is fine, im talking decor that was specifically faith themed.) made me uncomfortable. He made no apologies, and actually stated he was unaware of the religious decor. He could be the best doctor ever, but the practice is so poorly organized I didn’t feel comfortable finding out. I refused the exam and left.

I came from Kentucky where I lived my doctor's! Coming to Michigan and starting over with doctors I was really upset..I am very picking about my doctor's. I want them to listen to me and be caring..and the receptionist people as well.. I found Dr. Rafael and called and when I went in to see him for the first time the staff was friendly and office was clean. The nurses listened to everything I said and where very caring. When I met the doctor I was very weary at first..but turned out to be a very nice doctor!! Was very impressed by him..he listened and is very caring. I recommend him to everyone. If he and staff can pass my standards then trust me you will love them

I have been under the care of Dr. Rafaill for well over 25 years. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to address all of my concerns. His office staff are friendly and helpful. I am in and out of my appointments very quickly. I am grateful to be a patient at such at awesome office!
