My 94 year old mother in law was scheduled for an appointment today in Knox 10/20/23. I was unable to take her as I am sick. I arranged for another family member to drive her. That person drove almost 2 hours one way to get her. Once at the appointment she was turned away due to not having her photo ID. In my opinion there could have been a few options, #1, leave her there and offer her son to go home and get the ID, #2, call her family doctor and have them fax a copy, or #3, just see her and offer to let her pay for visit out of pocket until ID verified. Instead she was turned away and rescheduled for December! She has a hard time going out in the winter as she's 94 and unsteady. This treatment is not inline with how Dr. Smith advertises himself .

Spent very little time with me explaining the orthotics. And yelled instructions on how much to wear them across the waiting room, the sign in counter and in take area. I found that to be rude and unprofessional.
