Was not professional during visits
My daughter saw Dr. Weiss for anxiety and ADHD but he misdiagnosed her (which was later known after getting second opinions), and was unprofessional in being late for visits. He wasn’t compassionate, and his office overcharged for these appointments. I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Weiss

Beyond Disappointment
Telehealth
Saw Dr. Weiss for 6 years. During that time I trusted and believed he was one of the best psychiatrists I had ever seen. Left as we both had major life changes. I returned 7 years later. What he initially helped me develop and learn was destroyed in a matter of months after my return. I was given 3 months worth of scripts, insulted and told me he would not treat me and sent out into Phoenix with absolutely no references during a major pandemic. The emotional damage this doctor did I have been working on to repair the last 3 plus years. I am working on forgiveness for what this psychiatrist did to me! I do not know if that is even possible.

What a Doctor should be in the best sense.
He helped me from 1986 to 2004 and brought me from a complete wreck that got worse in Omaha, NE and I became medication free by 2015. I was his first patient and he was soothing and relaxing and his manner made me calm, explained what his decisions were and he listened and put me on a long road to recovery. I thank him for everything he did, especially listen and educated me as well on the thought processes we go through. Many Doctors jump to medication and with little thought about the patient as a person. Dr. Weiss is everything of what medicine should be. I will be forever grateful. He even let me ask questions and I learned. Not just a Doctor but a teacher in the best definition of the term.

He took all my information and had me on an over 1 month waiting list to be seen. I had to reschedule my initial as I was severely sick and gave them over 24 hour notice with a cold and his office attendant called me back to say "sorry, hes not taking any new patients now". Because I was sick he decided he didn't want to see me. What a joke. Its nice to be able to "pick and choose" your clients based on your convenience.

Dr. Weiss is an excellent, insightful and deeply humanistic psychiatrist. I appreciated his commitment to patients and to the field of psychiatry itself. His integrity and honesty were impeccable and I find his observations still relevant and helpful, some years later. Dr. Weiss is hands down the best mental health professional I've ever worked with.
