Dr. Derek Davenport, MD

I have had a hard year with being busy with my mother cancer appointments on top of having back to back miscarriages. I get news that my grandfather isn’t doing well therefore I have to travel to a state I have allergy induced asthma. I go online to get a REFILL from this doctor to which I get denied! Why you must ask? Because I haven’t been in to the office in a year? I have NEVER had an issue with refilling a EMERGENCY medication I’ve had my whole life. I cannot get into an appointment until after my trip. The offices response? Go to urgent care. So you are telling me that instead of refilling my medication which would be FASTER I have to go spend a day at the urgent care? This DOCTOR is money hungry and does NOT care about his patients. 37 years on this earth and NEVER have I dealt with such BS.

He is proactive and genuinely concerned about our health. He knows what he is doing, and keeps track of all aspects of our health and more.

Dr. Davenport was very caring, kind and professional. He listened to my concerns and answered my questions. His medical assistant, Sariah is great, very thoughtful and kind. His office staff are friendly and welcoming. We have been seen by his PA’s s well and they are all equally caring, kind and professional. Their overall service is top notch and we would definitely recommend Dr. Davenport and his team of PA’s, nurses, medical assistants and office staff for your primary and/or urgent care needs.

Dismissive, had 0 care to inquire about my past and why I was saying what I was saying. Definitely one of those doctors that you wonder why in the world they became a doctor. Will not ever go back there

Dr. Davenport is a kind and thorough provider. He listens well and is knowledgeable.

He called me fat. Appointment was rushed. Waited over an hour to even go back.

Pleasant professional

He was very untrusting and made quick assumptions and had bad bedside manner. I would not go to him if you want any part in your own healthcare and if you like being mistreated and judged. He was very bossy and not willing to consider what my primary care doctor had advised. He contradicted everything my doctor had prescribed and suggested.

He takes a little while to get to know, but now I really trust him.
