Great Educator
Dr. Hewitt explained in excellent understandable detail, the answers to questions I had about sinus issues and sleep apnea. He laid out options for my decision. I would trust him for further procedures.

I was referred to Dr. Hewitt by my PCP as the result of the detection of a swollen lymph node in my neck. After an initial consultation and examination, Dr. Hewitt took a tissue sample and had a biopsy performed. The results indicated that I had squamous cell carcinoma. Dr. Hewitt wanted to confirm the diagnosis and determine how far the cancer had spread so he ordered a PetScan. The PetScan confirmed the diagnosis and confirmed that the spread was limited to the neck and throat Dr. Hewitt has worked with me to determine the best treatment alternatives. He has been very easy to talk with and has been very open to my suggestions. I am very confident with Dr. Hewitt and would recommend him highly.

Dr. Hewitt seemed engaged and helpful the day of surgery but my daughter had many issues just out of surgery. One even needing a breathing treatmemt. We are 10 days post op and she still cry and screams about trying to eat a popsicle. I can't get fluids in her and every call I make to their office they read the same thing over and over and dismiss her without even wanting to see her.... now my 6 year old is on her way to the ER....will never recommend someone who brushes off ongoing issues in a child who isn't even able to get her liquids in.

Dr. Hewitt explained my husband's procedure in layman's terms. After surgery, he came out and said the patient was doing well. Talked about procedure. Loved his bedside manner.

I highly recommend Dr Hewitt if you need surgery because of his obvious sense of thoroughness and precision -- a very meticulous doctor. I wouldn't want anyone else operating on the inside of my face. Had a deviated septum from birth and met with him about possibility for surgery. Following examinations he stated that septum was definitely deviated and that surgery would allow for me to breathe through my nose. It's wonderful to be able to do so now! Thank you Dr Hewitt!

Dr. Hewitt performed surgery on me yesterday. Despite a busy day in the OR, he took time with me before and after surgery to discuss what he was about to do, and to discuss the case postoperatively. His manner was very professional and encouraging. My thanks to him for resolving a problem I’ve been living with for over 3 months. I will refer Dr Hewitt and his office staff to my friends and family! Linda Crawford, RN

Arrogant. Disinterested. Misdiagnosed a textbook ruptured eardrum. Had to go to Flagstaff to see a real ENT and get the proper diagnosis.

This office is a perfect example of what you can do to patients if you're the only ENT practice in town. You'd better hope you don't have a serious problem. They didn't answer the phone until 10 minutes after they were supposed to open. Be careful which DR. you see if you're a new patient, because you're stuck with them forever. That't their policy, "to ensure continuity". I had a serious infection in my nose and the best they could schedule me was 16 days out. Will not recommend these Drs
