Dr. Deron Horman, MD

My daughter went to the local urgent care for symptoms of pneumonia and saw Dr. Horman. Her son had spent 9 days in Children's Hospital with bacterial pneumonia and she explained that to the doctor. He listened to her chest and told her she did not have pneumonia. She requested a chest x-ray, but he said it wasn't necessary. He finally ordered one at her insistence. He said the x-ray didn't show anything but the radiologist who read her x-ray determined she did, in fact, have pneumonia. Dr. Horman's only concern was that he had been proven wrong. He didn't show any concern for his patient's health. He prescribed a very low dose of antibiotics that have proven to be ineffective. She ended up in the emergency room where she was diagnosed with a severe case of pneumonia. They also prescribed the appropriate medication to help her. Because of Dr. Horman's incompetence, she has been ill far longer than necessary. If you don't want to take care of people, don't become a physician.
