Great experience and very fortunate timing
Several weeks ago I had a cooking accident that caused a blade to be lodged in my finger. I went to Rapides Regional Hospital ER with appliance still in my finger and was very fortunate to have Dr. McKee on rotation call from out of town that week. The treatment was very positive because her procedure to debris, clean and close the wound saved me from probable emergency surgery had it been taken care of by the ER doctor. Because of her expertise as a hand specialist, she was able to make a more educated decision to wrap and allow healing without stitches. The extremely deep cut at this time is showing very little scarring or evident of trauma. Her detail and instructions on caring for the wound were very clear and the follow up appointment was timely and pleasant. May I add that her PA was also very attentive and professional, adding to the entire experience. I feel very fortunate that my accident occurred when she was available that week and received the best care for my finger.

Fantastic Hand Specialist
I was having difficulty with my right hand. One visit to Dr. McKee did the trick. They addressed my concern, and I returned for a follow-up two weeks later. All things were much better with my hand. I would highly recommend them - wonderful staff - wonderful medical staff. Thank you!

Amazing
Dr McKee is amazing. Took Plenty of time with me. Explained the procedure in detail. Was wonderful during my surgery and was very gentle. I have been around medical practice for the past 40 years and she is one of the very best I have encountered. Can't say enough good about her. Two thumbs up!!!

Review of doctor McKee and staff
Dr McKee is a miracle worker. She replaced my rt. Index finger knuckle and my left thumb needed a polycarbonate implant. Both hands are now 100%! I’m a carpenter and NEED my hands. The staff is also extremely helpful and accommodating. I’d recommend them to anyone that needs hand work done!

I had trigger finger on my right hand , my ring finger was locked in place for almost 3 months. Dr. McKee did surgery and release the tendon, also repaired my pointer and middle fingers. She is awesome and has a great personality. Made sure I understood everything. She is a great doctor and I would recommend her in a second .

Dr Mckee is a fantastic surgeon I went to see here in September 2021 with both my hands in pain I had been living with the issues for over 4 years, and i also had developed trigger thumb. Dr. Mckee explained to me my issues were because I had carpal tunnel on my right hand and carpal tunnel on my left with trigger thumb. I got scheduled for my first surgery on October 20 and it was instant relief . I had not had any day with out hand pain until I had surgery. It was the best feeling not having the constant pain. So on my follow up I spoke to Dr Mckee at my follow to setup my left hand surgery. I had the second surgery on Dec 8 to repair left hand issues . I appreciate everything the Dr Mckee has done for me .She is the best surgeon I have ever met and if you are having issues please go she her you will not be disappointed she is fantastic and her manor is great .

I had over 5 doctors to choose from with all good reviews. So, as I began calling other offices, I asked if they knew the names of the Doctors recommended by my insurance carrier. To my surprise and shock, I kept being told about Dr. McKee and her reputation. Not my expectation but certainly a surprise. Her reviews were just fabulous. Not just the positive but that she was so detailed in her communications and didn't rush her patients. Having had multiple back and a knee surgery, I've come to appreciate doctors that demonstrate their knowledge and share it with the patients. My two hands are completely free of all numbness and tingling, I am back to work, and I've been cared for by a most professional, courteous,, and caring team of experts. So, if you need surgery on your hands, do yourself a favor and look no more than for Dr. McKee. Being a research professor, I am expected to find the best solutions for problems. My solution was found here with Dr. McKee and her capable staff.
