I met Dr. Iyengar 31 years ago when I was first diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, I was 24 and terrified. He was and still is the most caring, compassionate doctor who truly makes you believe everything is going to be ok. No other doctor will ever come close to the person Dr. Iyengar is. I have had to fight this disease multiple time through the years and he has been there with me every step of the way. I am still here through the grace of God and because of Dr. Iyengar’s determination and knowledge. I am now 55 and recently diagnosed with breast cancer. So many emotions but the one thing that always remains the same is Dr. Iyengar’s positive attitude. The day I was in his office I was crying but he looked at me without hesitation and said “you are going to be ok”, I already have a treatment plan before you got here”. Just hearing those words it was like a weight was lifted. I asked him what do I do now? He said go home and be with your son I’ll take care of everything.I am blessed.

Dr. Deverajan Iyengar is by far one of the most compassionate, caring and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. When you are meeting with him there is no hurry to talk. He makes you feel as if you are the only patient he has and any questions or concerns you have are explained clearly so that you know exactly what will be done and what to expect during the treatment period. He has the utmost compassion for his patients and what they are going through both emotionally and physically. He has a calm demeanor about him which is very important to a person who has just been given a cancer diagnosis and is searching for answers. He is a credit to the medical profession and a God send to his patients. Thank you Dr. Iyengar.

The elephant in the room of modern medicine is that today's physicians have been handcuffed by pharmaceutical and insurance companies. When my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer I didn't know what to do. DR. I was a one man shelter in the worst storm of my life. He took on the insurance companies and give me quality time with my mommy I wouldn't have had other wise. If there was a bright side to my mothers illness it was finding out that people like DR I exist.

Dr. Iyengar is very easy to talk to, he actually listens to you. He has made a big Difference in my life. I'm getting Rituximad Rituxan 10mg/ml injection 100ml 1,000mg Intravenously + Chemo for my Rheumatoid Arthritis I could barley walk Because of all the inflammation the pain was unbearable & let me tell you I'm a Person that could tolerate a lot of pain but it was bad. My nurse Ramon Esguerra Is very efficient and to add on to that extremely a good person. Any questions I had were answered.

Dr Iyengar is very caring and very concerned about his patients. I have been going to Dr Iyengar since Jan of 2008. I first went there when i was diagnosed with breast cancer, but i have also been treated for severe anemia. He sent me to Bayonne Medical Ctr for blood transfusions and i have been treated in his office with iron infusions. Despite the long waiting time in his office i would not go to any other Dr. My sister also had breast cancer and she went to Dr. Iyengar

I am only alive because of him. He is the most caring doctor and fights for all his patients. He answers every question thoroughly which may be why his time with his patients is long but when your life is on the line I'm ok with him taking his time to ease the concerns of his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable and is always looking for new ways to help his patients. He has become family having spent so much time with him. You can't a better more caring doctor than him.
