Only person I love is her receptionist
Dr Crisan is a very curt, uncaring woman. I first met her in the hospital when I had a seizure. She used me as a Guinea pig to show off to her medical students. Spoke like I was just a medical study, not a person who was scared in my postictal state. Next time I saw her, I went to her office. She began blaming the hospital for not doing an epilepsy protocol MRI series… but she was my neurologist for that. She was the one doing all of the ordering. She looked at the ones she HAD ordered during my hospital stay, and blamed THEM (whoever that is) for not looking at the scans thoroughly. Started talking about a tumor. A cyst. Showed me parts of my brain that were not the way they’re supposed to work… asked me if I was gaslighting her and asked if I have memory problems or if I’m crazy. Took a phone call and left me crying in the exam room with all these scary words and then sent me away.I was terrified all day and the only one offering me comfort was her amazing receptionist.

I would never refer this doctor to anyone. Her ethic and professionalism has a lot to be desired. I brought in my parents for an exam for their loss of memory. All she did was tell me that she was ordering tests and not to call the office at all unless all tests were done. She or her office did not follow through to see how my parents were fairing with all this stress full testing. When all was complete, she was not available for weeks (always on vacation, or just not available for any appointment or any communication). She does not have a partner or someone that can take her patients while she was away. The only way that would happen, is if you were already a patient in the hospital. As for my recommendation, I do not have one...worst experience ever.

We were referred to Dr Crisan as my daughter suffered a concussion and was still experiencing symptoms. Dr Crisan was unprofessional and unhelpful; she did not focus on the concussion issues and chose to focus on unrelated topics. We did not learn anything, and came away frustrated and angry that we had wasted our time and money.

I would not recommend this doctor to my family or friends due to her cold demeanor; giving me a possible diagnosis before doing tests and getting results. I left her office feeling worse than when I walked in from things she said. Her approach should have been, " let do some test and see what they're showing".
