Trash Attitude. If I could give this woman zero stars I would.

She called me an alcoholic and drug addict. I never did drugs and rarly drank. We had one incident with drinking when I was depressed and she made her mind up that I was an addict of drugs and alcohol.

I urge everyone who can't stand this doctor to call her boss. Poor reviews haven't been enough to stop her from practicing. For new patients wanting to see this doctor there is good reason why she is the only one in one Ohio with availability.

She is straight to the point and honest which is probably why there are so many negative reviews . She’s gone out of her way on several occasions for me and is always quick to respond when I’ve had issues with my insurance or the pharmacy.

I was a patient of Dr. Eden's a couple of years ago and recently had a chance encounter with someone who was also her patient. I was surprised to realize that we both had the same negative experience, though after reading the reviews here I'm definitely not alone. She was condescending and made disparaging comments about me. She acted exasperated and annoyed when I said a medication wasn't working and requested a change. She accused me of drug seeking, even though I was actively requesting non-stimulant alternatives to my ADHD medication. She made me feel scared and ashamed and anxious at every appointment. I can't believe I put up with it for as long as I did. Because I was mentally struggling at the time, with guilt and low self esteem, I didn't realize how toxic Dr Eden's behavior was, and I didn't know it could be different. There are some not so good reviews concerning Dr Eden ,now let me tell you my experience. Before seeing Dr Eden my entire life was dysfunctional. My home was dysfunctional, everything was just a cluttered mess. My mind was constantly going and unable to focus. I'd spend days in bed and would make myself get up because I have a small child that needed attention and his mother. Doctor Eden helped me greatly. For the 1st time in a very long time I am productive. My brain actually gets rest. I am not up for hours after I lie down to sleep. I am less confrontational and have patience with people. This is all because she listened and there was no sugar coating anything. If you're looking for someone to pacify or baby you in any type of way she is not the doctor for you. Yes she is a little rough around the edges But she is there to help you if you truly need it.

No tolerance for slight tardiness yet may keep you waiting for up to 30 minutes past your appointment. Her demeanor can seem cold and uninterested your current life. Frequently the visit consists of how are you, where should she send prescription refills and here is your next appointment. Since she is not a counselor I often feel she will not discuss any problems you are having other than the depression she sees me for. Usually my visit lasts only 5 minutes.

Would not recommend to anyone

Like the Pink Floyd song off of Animals: "She radiates cold shards of broken glass." i.e., I thought she was an four letter word, and she shut me down in 10 minutes. Do NOT go to her. You are wasting your time..

I wish I didn’t event have to a star. She was the first physiatrist I even opened up to for help but, I left feeling incredibly misunderstood. Judged. And just upset with the entire way the appointment went. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. She is rude, condescending, judge mental, not friendly at all, &ruined my entire opinion on seeing a psychologist. Never go to her. You’ll be upset you did and wish you would have read reviews. If you are looking for a good psychiatrist Dr. Eden is NOT it. She is very cold. Very quick to judge and diagnosis you without really taking the time to get to know WHY you are even there to begin with. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone. Her demeanor is rude, judge mental, cold, and just NOT friendly in the least bit. She talks down to you even when you know and have a medical background. I wish I would have read the reviews on her. Staff was friendly as they should be but, her not at all.

One of these reviews mentions that she listens, that is utter baloney. She justs lists medications and wants you to pick one. I didn't like the side effects of what she prescribed and she was irritated with me. I had been seeing someone else in her practice for 11 years. When she retired, I had to see Dr. Eden. She told me that because I had a balance on my account, she couldn't make another appointment for me. 11 years I was giving her my money and she didn't even care.

Dr Eden is the best. I like the fact she takes the time too listen and cares. I also like how she tells it like it is. I will definitely be back too see her again.

There are times I feel Dr. Eden isn't as respectful as she should/could be. My appointment cards have been tossed at me without even asking if I'm able to make the appointments scheduled

If I could give a negative I would. Worst dr. Ever... she did much more harm than good for me. She should not even be able to practice for how horrible she is. She will give u meds after meds not even caring the effect they are having on you...she just cuts u off of meds when u should not cut them off but be weaned off. I wish I would have researched her and saw these reviews before she put in in the worst state place. Do not go to her! I never once left there feeling better but much worse.

During my wife's visit, which I sat in on, she casually turned and asked me how it affected me. She told me she could also prescribe something for me! I declined. A guy a work, who's wife also saw Dr. Eden, said the same exact thing happened to him. In his case she prescribed an antidepressant. She's a quack.

Been taking meds 4 depression 20 years;effective.Seeking help 4 increased anxiety/OCD.Switched Dr. cuz of ins. change.Cuz I mentioned PREVIOUS use of alcohol 4 effective calming temporarily until help received,she refused 2 renew my meds & 2 consider additional choices!She relayed this 2 RN behind her closed door.She couldn't talk 2 me?(RN kind&professional)Knocked on door &requested termination.Belittling & disrespectful to me!Expects me to suddenly stop my meds??SAD! I'm not drinking alcohol!

If there were zero stars, that’s how I would rate Dr Eden herself. I am very happy with my counselor but Dr Eden is rude, disrespectful and condescending. She has more than once literally thrown an appointment card across the desk to me without even asking about the time or date. If I could change without her approval, I would be seeing a different psychiatrist

My first time I was in there she should have been paying attention to the intake process and listening to me, instead she was watching the Indians game on her phone.
