Dr. Diane Reidy Lagunes, MD

Dr. Diane Reidy has been my oncologist for 3yrs and I have never as if I made the wrong choice. She greets her patients with a hug and a smile. She is warm, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and the best of the best at MSKCC. I have recommended several NET patients to her and they have all been just as satisfied.

PLease do not go this so called ophysician. She will sacrifice you as a patient, your health, and give you erroneous information, to push you in one of her clinical trials!!!

Dr Reidy is very highly skilled and takes the time and effort to know her patient.

I have met with Dr. Reidy several times and she is upfront, caring and compassionate. She explains things in a way for you to understand. Her staff is very trough and also compassionate.

I think she is concerned more with being a celebrity doctor than actually treating her patients and sadly isn’t available to answer questions and just has her team of doctors do the dirty work. She gives her patients false and also doesn’t look up all avenues to treat her patients. I would advise to go with another doctor who isn’t doing podcast and isn’t constantly on vacation and actually wants to treat and help patients.

My daughter was a patient of Dr. Reidy. Sadly my 30 year old daughter passed away. When ever there was a crisis the doctor never responded. Usually she would have her nurses return the calls. She never followed up on treatments she was receiving. We never got any acknowledgement or calls from the doctor after my daughter passed away. The doctor was very cold. I do not recommend this doctor. She was a phony. Do not trust her. There are other doctors who have a lot more Knowledge and experience.

I would not recommend Dr. Reidy. Make sure you go for a second opinion. She gives you false hope and she changes her mind about various treatments. Then tells you it’s just bad luck. If you want to die make an appt with Dr Reidy.

Run the other way. Do not be fooled by a warm smile and false hope. She will delay calling you with test results for days; especially if it is bad news.

Dr. Reidy is amazing. She has the ability to make you feel totally at ease when she is going over her findings and what she recommends as the treatments. Having been dealing with the ups and downs of my Cancer she has gotten me through the hard times. Her confidence makes all the difference in my treatments. Whether it's Chemo or medication she takes me through what I should expect along with how to deal with it. What can I say about Dr. Reidy? I could write a book.My Family loves her.Mr. Mavro
