My mom was scheduled for an appointment a month ago. When she arrived to her appointment, the doctor called her into his office and asked her if she had the COVID vaccine. She replied no, he then rudely kicked her out. In the office, there are no signs anywhere, not even at the front door, that says vaccines are required for treatment. My mother is a 69 year old wheelchair bound woman that has been needing to see a specialist for 2 months now. Had I known that the covid vaccine was required for this visit, I would have scheduled with another doctor. My sister called soon after finding out our mother was kicked out of the office to complain and the receptionist apologized for the inconvenience. An hour later, my father received a phone call from the office telling him that the reason why the doctor is not seeing any patients without the COVID vaccine is because he has his 95 yr old mom at home. I didn't realize that doctors make professional decisions based on their personal life.
