Dr. Irlandez, I was glad he was my cardiologist dr
It was my first cardiologist doctor by ER referral to Dr. Irlandez. It was concerned to swelling ankles and short of breathe. He was patience with me being deaf with a sign language interpreter. He was so sweet doctor. Glad he was my cardiologist doctor. Thank you very much.

Abnoxious arrogrant doctor
I am giving Dr. Irlandez one star because his lack of communication is completely unacceptable. After my appointment in December, he ordered an echocardiogram and stress test but never shared the results with me—leaving me completely in the dark. Even when my infectious disease doctor reached out to him, and he promised to contact me, he never followed through. This level of unprofessionalism is shocking, especially from a cardiologist responsible for one of the most critical organs in the body. Patients deserve basic respect and timely communication, no matter what the test results show. Dr. Irlandez failed on both counts.

Don't expect any followup
First visit was okay. He noted several issues that have been present for decades and do not pose a problem now. However, when I needed a surgical clearance, he left the request in his inbox for over three weeks, although he did not have any days off during that time. Although the clearance was finally obtained basically by my insistence that someone reach him, it was too late and my surgery had to be rescheduled. He may or may not be a good doctor, but this was not a good experience.
