Very best in knowledge and relationship skills but office staff terrible, as described many times. Impossible to communicate except through direct appointment.

They just got bought out by Max Health and I hoped that things would improve. They are still in transition but so far they haven't other than appointments being 30 minutes instead of 15. Doctor Deray is a fine physician but his support staff is trash. They NEVER answer the phone. They call back only as the office closes so if you miss the call because your commuting, tough. I have constant issues with getting prescriptions filled because they can't be bothered to be available for the pharmacy either. I've had to drive to the office several times to deal with issues in person and I'm done with that. I'll find another practice

I can’t even get an appointment with DeRay, and he is my primary. He must approve an order for my MRI for a torn rotator cuff and his staff told me the beginning of December is the soonest I can see him. I can’t lift my arm at all, and I drove to his office because they don’t answer the phone begging for an MRI order and the horribly unpleasant front desk person basically said tough luck.

He made an insightful diagnosis and addressed several medical issues with appropriate solutions. He is personable and truly cares about the patient. As a side note, he has also addressed some office issues so they are running smoother.

Dr. Deray has been my Doctor for long time and his medical experience has helped me through the years. I would never want to lose him. He's compassionate and very up front with me what I need to know. He is very busy and his staff does best they can. Everyone wants to go to Dr. Deray. I'm very grateful I found him. Many thanks.

Doctor very good, personable, knowledgeable, all the things you expect from a doctor. The office however is poor. Rarely answers the phone, and doesn't return calls. Also is late for most appointments. They appear to jam in too many patients during the course of the day. You either give good care and service to few patients or poor to many.

Dr. Deray's office is very busy for the obvious reason—he's a very good doctor. Don't let his young appearance fool you; he's sharp as a whip, well versed in medicine, and resourceful with referrals to specialists. Furthermore, genuinely cared about my health issues and was candid with his medical advice that left no grey areas. This is rare. I recommend Dr. Deray to anyone in search of a family doctor in Sarasota-Bradenton area.

We found Dr. Deray by chance when looking for a PCP after relocating. We feel truly blessed to have connected with Dr. Deray, as well as his Nurse Practioners and staff. We call in quite often, and despite high volume of calls and messages, they always do their best to respond ASAP. Thank you AMA!

Dr. Deray has exceptional listening skills, and is very attentive. His nursing staff are awesome. My only critique is that it is difficult to get through to anyone on the automated system, and at times impossible to leave a message. But when I am able to leave a message someone gets back to me by the end of the day.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Deray for over 3 years. His counsel, learning, and gracious demeanor has been a true asset for my family. Even after I moved up to Palmetto, I continue to use Dr. Deray as my primary physician.

I've been going to Dr. Deray for some years now! My husband finally started seeing Dr. Deray a couple of years now and being a retired Navy service man he said he likes him and that's all I needed to hear!! Dr. Deray always listens to me and understands me! I have never felt rushed during any of my office visits. I also see Alana Hoffman-John. She is also very professional ! I feel pretty special because I have two awesome doctors, one female and one male! Just in case I need one or the other to answer certain questions I my have, you know "girl" stuff. The girls up front are professional and they always welcome me when I come in. Csilla has been there since I started coming in the office, she is the sweetest thing. She always has something nice to say to me! So, I know that I am long winded BUT I can't say enough good things about Dr. Deray and everyone in the office!!

He is great, but not his nurse! Still waiting for a referral. Sent prescription to the wrong place.

Excellent experiences every time. He’s one of the best internists I have experienced. He listens, acknowledges, explains in lay terms, offers advice and options whenever possible, and expresses concern that patient will be able to afford the meds/treatment recommendations.

Office staff is very efficient on making sure they have the latest Medicare Cards and collect co-payments before seeing the doctor. Then after paying my co-payment up front, I felt like I was kept hostage waiting 45 minutes past my appointment without explanation or apology. During the first visit, Dr Deray sounded very interested in my condition and stated that he would do some research. On follow up visits, he did not mention any research that he had done but just wanted to refer me out to other specialties. I felt more that he was an Administrator than a physician with medical knowledge. I found the office staff to be very rude when asking about the referral process and timeline.

Very rushed, short staffed, waited two weeks for biopsy results on large tumors, snippy staff says they can't get 30 seconds with him as explanation for lack of communication.. got an abnormal test and they just scheduled another without even giving me results of first test or any explanation. Even assistant to assistant is too busy and we get VM all the time when calling. They're WAY too busy running an excessive patient load give proper care.

Dr. DeRay is an excellent physician and his nursing staff are wonderful!! I'm thankful to have found them!

He is the best!! He really listens to his patients and he is very down to earth. He is a pleasure to speak with and explains things in layman terms so you can understand what is happening. He is not in Arcadia anymore he is now in Sarasota in the medical cluster on University and Shade.

Dr. Deray is the best physician I have found. He always takes the time to listen and explain. He makes the patient feel important and that their issues matter. He is a wonderful doctor and has helped me tremendously since I began seeing him in March of this year. The staff at the office is equally wonderful. Everyone is so helpful and friendly.

No other doctor has ever taken the time to explain test results and reasons behind decisions made in my health plan as well as Dr Deray. I could not be more pleased with anyone from any profession. This small community is lucky to have someone as knowledgeable and thorough as him to serve the people here.
