he prescribed very high levels of steroids, which may have contributed to my avascular necrosis leading to total hip replacement. Be aware of what he recommends and be sure to do your research first before allowing him to treat you.

I've had pain in my leg for over 4 years, tried rehab, chiropractor, when could hardly walk tried this doctor. After a few minutes of testing my reflexes, said I have something which is common and comes and goes and nothing to do about it. Didn't want to waste any time finding out what had happened over those years, actually testing muscles, where pain was, how bad it was (had gotten to the point where I needed a cane.) I asked questions he shrugged off. Then made me a followup appointment! What was he going to do if waiting a month didn't 'cure' it. I'm an older woman, I felt like he immediately classified me as somebody who just had arthritis and wanted pain pills.

Awful bedside manner. He dismissed all my issues before any testing because I was unlikely to have any of the conditions that my symptoms suggested because I was "a young, white, female." He clearly made judgement as soon as he saw me. I had the first appointment of the day, which was a double appointment at 7:45 for a new patient. I didn't go back until 8:00, and he barely spent 10 minutes with me. Complete waste of time and a copay to be made to feel like I was making things up simply because of my gender/age/race. I scheduled a test to be done, and I had to wait 3 months. They refused to let another doctor in Crystal run perform it any earlier. A week before the procedure they called to say he wasn't there that morning and I'd have to reschedule. I pushed it back another 3 weeks, only to receive the same phone call 3 weeks later. I gave up at that point because he clearly doesn't even do this test. He ran an MRI, but I had to call to see what the results were.

Gorelov is very nice to me whenever I visit. He gives me the scripts for my MRIs every six month. Most of all, he has the professionalism and courtesy to admit that he is not an expert in my condition, and that all he can do is give me the MRIs, read them, and send them over to the men who can speak freely on my condition.
