Dr. Dmitri Zbarsky, MD

Failed to bring in a Nephrologist for consult on an end stage renal patient being given multiple IV antibiotics simultaneously. Refused simple requests without a medical reason. Failed to take into consideration that people are individuals and react differently. Would not listen when told patient's history. Dr felt he knew better than the patient despite the fact that the patient had been dealing with the diagnosis for the last 25 years. I can not remember a single request made that he did not deny. We've never had a Dr like this before. I would give anything to have been wrong. Unfortunately, a specialist just left and the requests I made are finally being done. But he warned us it may be too late to make a difference. If only the Dr could have had someone who had been dealing with this for 25 years to talk to. Oh wait - he did - he just dismissed the people who had the biggest motivation to get it right.
