Dr. Dmitry Ostrovsky, MD

I found that he can be pretty tough on you sometimes but I now get it that he was trying too hard to fix things in the beginning. It's also much better now that I spoke up about it. He seems to try to help a lot, which is nice, and doesn't settle for your BS; but also I'm happy he responded to my feedback and can take a step back and just listen. Overall I'm happy I've stuck thru it and getting annoyed at him. The therapy has been good for over a year now and I'm finally getting my life back together. PS; he's pretty good about getting you off meds if you need that kind of thing. If that's you, hang in there, it can take a while, but it's worth it. -G

He doesn;t do TMS anymore. But he's still good to talk to. Happy he's got office hours again. Was waiting to come back till then. If you need TMS he'll help you find a place, but he's a great therapist and med manager so I recommend him otherwise. Can help with many issues not just meds. Like talking to him.

I'm no longer with this doctor because I moved across the country. But he was the first one to correctly diagnose me and stuck by me when no one else would. He reaches out when other don't and trusted me more than I think most would when I was in crisis. IE no automatice calls to 911. Also, is very transparent and makes you work like a personal trainer if you do therapy w/ him. Not sure what else to say. Therapy isn't easy. Can't say it was easy with him either, but I did feel a lot of positive growth, which is more to say than my previous experiences. He is quite warm tho and supportive; but also pushes you to work toward your goals

Dr. O is very well read and a good therapist in addition to a psychiatrist. He is conservative with medications and is very easy to talk to. I really enjoy doing therapy. Also he takes my insurance!

I was suffering with being misdiagnosed schizophrenic and on antipsychotics for many years. [drugs+depression/ptsd=bad mix] He took me OFF those and improved my life. Even tho I was scared to switch meds, im happy i did. feel much better. Finally working again after SSD. not a pill pusher. Asks personal questions and will be very sad to see him go. He returns calls and seems like he cares about his patients. Seems very smart. Liked his CBT drillz and chill attitude. 1 of the good 1's 4 sure!

Dr. O has been one of the best therapists I've had [and I'm not one to warm up to people easily]. He really makes you feel comfortable and explains the meds/science well. I've been through so many bad therapists before. I'm happy to have gotten him assigned. He's not judgy and seems to really care. Helped me through some tough times. Wicked smart, very professional, and punctual, Gives good advice and makes me think. Really gives you full attention. Not quick to prescribe. Returns calls.

Dr. O has been one of the most attentive and kind resident psychiatrists I've ever worked with at this clinic. He really listens to you, returns your calls fast, and takes extra care and time when you need it. Really helped fix my medications and got rid of all anxiety symptoms this year. Highly recommend.

Cares and explains things well. Very please considering it's a resident doctor.
