Excellent very personable and listener
I was so thankful for his quality of professionalism and very personable approach to me as a new client. I was pleased with his recommendation to how to address my left knee injury and osteoarthritis concerns. He recommended starting with a steroid injection and I agreed and appreciated this approach.

He was great! Very transparent about everything.
I have pain in my right knee. He reviewed the X-rays with me and showed me what was likely causing my discomfort. The doctor recommended an injection to relieve the pain since a knee replacement was premature and, therefore, that’s what I decided on.

Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Van Nielen explained everything very thoroughly; from the xrays before surgery to the hip replacement surgery procedures itself. He eased my anxiety and fear with his explanations and team attitude. I'd highly recommend him if you need hip or knee replacement.

Very likely Dr Van Nielen did an outstanding job
Dr Van Nielen took over my painfully bad hip as a new Dr at EBJ. I had been suffering with it nearly a year prior so I was so thankful when he said he’d replace my hip as soon as I’m ready. I’m still recovering from the surgery in which he did a beautiful job and looking forward to the day I can walk pain free. The process was seamless with everything thought of and pre planned prior to surgery. Just had my 4 week follow up and saw my new hip via X-ray and wow pretty perfect
