Dr. Callens is our primary care physician, and we find him to be very attentive, informative, and a very caring person! He and his nurse Katy have always returned our calls, answered our questions, and treated us with the utmost care and respect. The front desk has always been very helpful, and respectful to us. I feel secure under his care.

Not likely he and his staff are NOT accommodating at All been using him for 14 yrs and his I’ve finally decided to move on. Several times he and his staff has let me down.while waiting 2 to 3 months for a referral from his referral nurse I was told how close I was to liver cancer. My boss on my job at the time told me of a gastroenterologist in Baytown that I would not need a referral for and after the colonoscopy and endoscopy I was dangerously close to liver cancer When I informed dr Callens

Dr Callens is straight forward in his opinions, and we like that. He listens well to what you have to say and does not rush you. Wants to always do what is right for your care and quality of life. We are very pleased with all the staff as well.

Dr. Callens himself is great. One of the better doctors that I've met. His front office staff is horrible. With the exception of the appointment desk, no one, and I mean no one, will pickup the phone or return a call. A voicemail left will go unanswered forever. You cannot get anyone to answer questions, setup appointments with other facilities, or discuss a prescription that was wrongly prescribed.
