Vaginal Exam for UTI? Listen to your pts.
Mistakenly chose dr. Cole at random because my pcp didn’t have availability for 3 weeks and I just recovered from a bad UTI with complications like fever for over 20 days, etc, and was experiencing some of the same bladder area pain my PCP told me to come back in for if it started up again.I don’t know if dr. Cole read anything in my chart. Or if maybe I described what I was feeling incorrectly and it led to this, either way, bad experience for me.He insisted on a vaginal exam… again, I was there to follow up on a painful and drawn-out battle with a bladder and kidney infection (UTI). I thought it had come back. He dug around and I was prescribed itching cream for my vagina??? Went to urgent care after seeing him, as my symptoms obviously persisted. No cream. Just wasted money on the appt.I didn’t get full on creeper vibes, but that was the last medical appointment I have ever not been an advocate for myself at. I also no longer see male doctors unless I can absolutely avoid it.

Rushed, 45 minutes late, as a first time patient Trey didn’t even ask about my medical history.

Unfortunately I did not have a desirable appointment with Dr Cole. Dr Cole was judgmental about my getting a physical, which I though was odd. During his line of questioning he was brash and seemed sure I was using illegal drugs which I don't and never have. I was thinking maybe it was just an off day for him, for this was the first time I have seen him. Dr Cole continued to say that these tests were not needed and I did not need to get a physical. After reluctantly completing the physical, Dr C

Did not rush took time to answer questions. I felt as he genuinely cared. Not just a body in the room.
