Dr. Donald Decoy, MD

The Doctor assured me at first appt he could get me Oxygen for sleep apnea and then told me he couldnt because a lab sleep study would be required. As if they were unaware of that requirement ? Told me in writing as long as my Oxygen remained above 80% to 82% during sleep it was 'fine' ?? Really ? Told me he would do something else and then he couldn't because apparently they did not realize Insurance would need approval. I was not aware of lack of Board Certification. Lost confidence quickly and decided further appointments were a waste of time.

He followed through with my sleep apnea problem of many years when no other doctor did! I recommend him highly.

He has a very poor bedside manner, he's very negative and I would not take my worst emery to him. I only met this so called dr during my mother's hospital stay, would highly discourage anyone from going to him.

Dr. Decoy is not very tactful when dealing with patients or their families. Calls family members and over the phone states that he is not sure that the patient is going to "pull through " this time!! Also speaks negatively to patients and their families even speaking of possible malignancies when there has been no diagnosis. Is very derogatory when speaking to patient and their families.
