I went to Dr. Dicken after my doctor at Virginia Mason in Seattle treating me for tibial nerve damage said that the first Nerve Conduction Study/EMG that I had done from a physiatrist here in Kennewick was "so unhelpful as to be unusable". And it was discovered that that first physiatrist DID NOT EVEN DO the EMG portion of the testing! According to my doctor at VM in Seattle, Dr. Dicken's testing was "on par with what I would expect from our own doctors here at VM. This is a very thorough and complete exam, and I can develop a prognosis for you with these results." Dr. Dicken was prompt, very personable, fun, and extremely thorough in his performance of my NCS/EMG. His testing and write-up were stellar and clearly understandable, even for a layman like me. His office gal was not impersonal, but yet not rude in any way. Kind of neutral, but that doesn't bother me. She seemed to be focused on other duties. I would certainly recommend Dr. Dicken over any physiatrist in the Tri-Cities.

He has ties to OLOL in Pasco -- as a result one can't trust him or anyone else at OLOL -- horrible place for medical care and all doctors that I've had contact with there have no clue on how to take care of patients. Have seen the ER doctors using the Internet to see what is wrong and how to care for a patient -- His office staff is as rude as rude can be, no one smiles, no one greets you.

I’ve had 2 appts w/Dr. Dicken both for Nerve Conduction Studies. After 7 surgeries on hands/wrists I now require PT. I only came across this site in my inquiry, of his other specialties, hoping to be able to further utilize his services. Dr.Dickens is professional, conscientious & informative. He is a caring Dr. with a warm, joyous personality that puts his patients at ease. It is for these reasons I would highly recommend him & hoped to hire him again. To often I’ve found medical professionals treating patients as conditions & diseases choosing to be impersonal while forgetting they’ve been hired by the patient. This doesn’t inspire confidence that one’s well being is of utmost importance. Dr.Dickens is able to provide excellent medical care as well as that human touch so needed in the medical field. I was treated courteously and professionally by his office staff. My request to be put on a cancellation list was respected & utilized. I waited just a few moments being seen on time.

My son received care from Dr. Dicken for muscular dystrophy for two or three years. The problem is with the office staff. First, as we made our annual appointments a year ahead of time, so when we came from Lewiston, ID on the date we were greeted with "You aren't supposed to be here, the doctor stopped doing that clinic months ago. No notification. Argumentative woman. Did not forward records after 3 requests. Not professional, unfriendly and RUDE.
