Dr. McGowan did cataract surgery on both eyes at separate times. Everything was flawless. She is very available always to talk to, and explained the surgery well.

I just had a cataract procedure done for both eyes within a period of a month. Both eyes are now 20/20 vision and Dr. Macdonald and his staff were tremendously invaluable throughout my whole process. Dr. Macdonald is a fantastic surgeon and I would recommend him and his team to anyone!

Do not use this man for eye lid reduction. The man clearly does not know wha he was doing. Left with horrible scarring.

I can't believe how good my vision is after the surgeries. Dr Macdonald explains everything in simple terms. His office staff are great and very professional. I would highly recommend Dr. Macdonald for your eye care.

Not happy with the appointment. Dr. Macdonald did NOT wear a mask when he came into the exam room. Some of the things that occurred at previous visit were NOT included in his records. He did not answer my questions. Will not be going back

I recently had to have cataract surgery. At first, I was so apprehensive about having surgery, especially on my eyes. While conferring with my PCP, prior to the surgery, she praised Dr. Macdonald and told me not to worry. During one visit with the doctor, he assured me that he would take good care of me, and he certainly did. The procedure was completely painless, and the improvement in my vision is amazing! I followed his instructions religiously after the surgery and didn't have a single complication. I am so pleased. I highly recommend Dr. Macdonald. He has exceptional bedside manner. He is also very patient and takes the time to really listen and address all of my questions and concerns. He really is the best, he's trustworthy, and a great surgeon. Excellent office staff too, including the team at the surgery center.

Dr Macdonald performed a PRK on me, which transformed my age-related deteriorating vision to practically perfect! I couldn't believe it, and I can't say enough good about Dr Macdonald and his staff for both their caring attitude and their manifestly professional skills. What I know about this practice calls into VERY serious question that one-star rating appearing at this site, obviously coming from a probable malcontent, if not a true head case!

Dr. MacDonald was one of the few ophthalmologist who determined that even a minor cataract removal would eliminate my double vision. He was right. The surgery was painless and went well. No more double vision in my right eye. The bonus was that my astigmatism was fixed as well. Trustworthy, friendly, courteous, and competence all in one package. The support staff (nurses and Eyewear staff) are hand picked by Dr MacDonald. They complete the team that provides knowledgeable and comprehensive eye care.

I had a very fabulous outcome Dr. MacDonald remove the cataracts in each of my eyes. The whole procedure was painless and the recovery time was minimal. I have mono vision which means I can read with one eye and can see distance with the other. No more trifocals for me! The whole procedure before during and after was seamless and the office staff are just fabulous!

Dr Macdonald is an excellent doctor. I had terrible pain from what he discovered to be a corneal ulcer. I was seen right away and treated. Very happy with him.

I've worn glasses for over 65 years. After having cataract surgery performed by Dr. Macdonald, I was able to do away with my glasses. For the first time I was able to read a book, newspaper etc and see highway signs far away. Could not be happier.
