Dr Rink saved my husband’s life about 22 years ago when he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. He has stayed on a strict diet given to him by Dr Rink. We haven’t seen him in over 22 years but he certainly saved my husband’s life

I feel that Dr. Rink saved my life in 1987 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He was the most perfect and caring doctor/surgeon ever, which was very important to me. He came to my work to give me my diagnosis because I couldn’t get away. He held my hand when I was going under anesthesia. I knew everything would be OK. I could go on. I have thought of him fondly ever since that time.

I have known Dr. Rink for a long time and he is an exceptional character and a very compassionate man. He recently performed surgery on me and took the time to call me everyday for a week, to check the status of my recovery. Dr. Rink is a knowledgeable guy, a good friend and an Excellent Surgeon!

Dr. Rink is another example of the outstanding health care available here in Santa Barbara. Every aspect of my experience was the very best from Ashley the receptionist to the procedure to Dr. Rink's knowledge and detailed information explaining everthing having to do with my condition. He followed up with several phone calls checking on my progress which was rapid without any negative consequences (no pain in particular). I would add a sixth star if I could.

He is absolutely the most compassionate doctor I've ever seen. I missed an appointment by a day and was making my apologies and leaving when he walked out and took me right in. A proctologist is not the most fun doctor to see, but he was so caring, he made the whole visit almost enjoyable and was very reassuring. He took the time to answer every question. SO different from a previous specialist.
