I spent 3 months and over $200,000 as an inpatient at The Retreat at Shepherd Pratt when he was The Director. The taking of my medical and psychological history was extremely deficient as was my physical exam. This resulted in misdiagnoses that were extremely inaccurate and harmful. I was emotionally abused as a result. My PTSD failed to be diagnosed and treated. Since many very high level psychiatric authorities say psychological trauma and PTSD the foundation of all psychiatric disorders, I saw many patients under treated regardless of their initial diagnosis.
