Don't go if you're seeking a new diagnosis
I had a very poor experience with Dr. Saelinger. I came to the TriHealth practice because of chronic 24/7 nausea that I had had for about 6 years, as well as a strong family history of IBD. I had previously been diagnosed with IBS but didn't believe the diagnosis was accurate. He was overall very dismissive and brief. He literally started to end the appointment without having addressed my nausea at all and I had to beg him to listen to me. I actually started crying because I was so frustrated. Suddenly he said, "Oh, you have nausea? That's not normal for IBS." I mean...obviously. So he conceded and recommended an upper endoscopy. When I had that done, he never called and read me my results and when I tried to call for follow up care, I was told he wasn't in the office and no one ever reached out to interpret my results (that was more TriHealth's fault). It was such a bad experience that found a new doctor. It turns out I have gastroparesis caused by an autoimmune disease.
