Wham Bam
I turned 60 years old in the past year, so Dr Shaw should have thought to write me an Rx for a bone density scan. A week after my annual gyn appt, the radiology lab I use for mammography called to suggest a bone density scan be added on to my upcoming appt. It occurred to me Dr Shaw should have thought of this, especially as my mother has osteoporosis. (Why bother filling out all those family history forms if the doctor ignores them anyway) Now I need to go back and forth with the office to get the Rx. Is it a huge deal? Maybe not, but this is the sort of thing that happens when a doctor wants to spend no more than 5 minutes with you in the exam room, year after year.

Cold, Rude, Horrible Birth Experience
I switched practices when I was going to have a second child solely to avoid the risk of having Dr. Shaw deliver again. She was cold, rude, and patronizing. I was in active labor for 5 hours. I had internal tears that required stitches, which fell out a few days later. When this happened, rather than seeing me in the hospital OB unit where Dr. Shaw was on call, she required that I go to the emergency room and wait for hours, only for her to eventually come down anyway to the ER as the on call OB specialist. Traumatic, upsetting, and overall unnecessary. I dreaded my follow-up 6 week appointment to have to see her again where she was again cold and not very informative/empathetic. I would never, ever recommend Dr. Shaw.

So disappointing
I found that Dr. Shaw was not interested in listening to my gynecological issues and felt I could not get in a word. There was absolutely no give and take; just a monologue. Will not be back.

My family and I are so incredibly thankful to Dr Donia Shaw for taking such great care of me! I highly recommend her!!!!!!! She performed an 8 hour robotic hysterectomy on me at Morristown Hospital on January 8, 2019. My surgery was complex due to the numerous fibroids and the size the of my uterus . Dr. Shaw took her time performing the surgery and then put me back together again flawlessly. I only had to stay 1 night in the hospital and she was there to greet me the next morning. She comf

Dr. Shaw is wonderful. I can’t say enough about the care I’ve received. She performed a total hysterectomy on me 15 months ago. She was patient with my presurgery anxieties, answering every question sometimes twice. My recovery was fast and relieved the pain I had experienced for many years. My quality of life is greatly improved. The entire staff is great, and Dr. Dr. Shaw is very warm and caring, as well as skilled and professional. It’s wonderful that she has it all. I trust her completely.

I just left Dr. Shaw office. The receptionist I delt with went out of her way to fit me in. The nurse was friendly, kind and answered all of my 100 questions. Dr Shaw was excellent. She took her time and explained everything to me. I was very comfortable and she was very gentle. Very professional.

This office is simply money-hungry and incompetent. Collecting copays and having you come back and forth for appointments is their way of mooching more money. Doctor doesn't concentrate whatsoever - forgets what she does one minute to the next. Having an emergency? Don't be shocked when the doctor doesn't return your call. She could care less.

I called Dr Shah up when I was 5 days postpartum bc I had come down with a 104 degree fever. I explained my symptoms including very engorged breasts. She told me I probably have a virus and to wait it out. I told her I was concerned about the high fever and I said I think I may have an infection. She told me I don't have an infection and if I'm that concerned I should go to the ER. Turns out I had a severe breast infection called Mastitis and needed antibiotics ASAP. I will never use her again
