She needs to go!!!
Dr. Bosworth is a disgrace to the profession. My daughter was injured in a flag football game. We couldn’t feel her Achilles in the affected foot. I took her to the Children’s urgent care in Monroeville to have her checked and possibly get an x-ray. She came into the exam room l, listened to what happened and proceeded to do a physical exam. She told my daughter to stand on her tip toes which she could not do and she told her yes you can. She dismissed us saying she had a soft tissue injury and she will be good in a week. Turns out after another opinion her Achilles tendon is almost fully torn. So much for her diagnosis and her bedside manner. She is awful and should not be working with children or anyone else for that matter. I tried to rate her in the actual UPMC site and was unable but will file an official complaint.

HORRIBLE
Oh wow. I would give her zero stars if I could. I am not the person to EVER give bad reviews unless absolutely necessary. The worst doctor we have seen in a long time, let alone pediatrician! She is very rude and condescending. Spoke to me about MY child like I was incompetent, or lacked health literacy. I know what is going on and I am very aware of what is going on with MY child and in regards to his care. Dr. Bosworth needs a refresher course in cultural competence and learn to give even an ounce of compassionate care (currently you have ZERO). Your bedside manner is AWFUL and you should learn better speak to those you are supposed to be taking care of. I hope you and UPMC reads, and learn from these reviews. DO BETTER!!!

She was very condescending to me and my 12 year old son. She seemed like she already had her mind made up that there was nothing wrong with him before before coming into room. She said he looked and sounded fine before even examining him. Mean while he's been sick with fever and a worsening cough for a week now. But she said I needed to get a plain cough medicine not a multisymptom one and give him cough drops. Wasted our time and now he'll still feel like crap for Easter.

Horrible!
Worst I've experienced in years! I called the pediatrician's after hours line & was advised to go to children's express care or the ER. Children's express was way closer & I assumed the wait time wouldn't be too long. My 7mo had a fever of 104.9, projectile vomiting & heavy/rapid breathing. (The only time he didn't projectile vomit was when he threw up mucus.) I did what any caring, responsible parent would do. I took my baby to be seen, despite having just left an appointment hours ago. The nurse was great. Bosworth, not so much. She didn't introduce herself, greet us etc. The first statement/question out of her mouth was "I don't understand why you're here". Several times during the visit she made statements such as "I find it hard to believe his temperature was the high". I don't know any single parent of multiples that would go to a dr appointment just for kicks. She lacks compassion & professionalism. I will be filing a formal complaint with UPMC.

Worst doctor I have ever seen. Bedside manner is terrible and is not friendly to children. I took my daughter to see her because she was having chest pain and shortness of breath after gym class. Dr. Bosworth immediately came in and proceeded to tell us that it was all psychosomatic before ever even examining her. She is very condescending and makes parents feel like they have no clue what they're talking about and that you're wasting her time. I would never recommend this doctor.

Very condescending to parents. Would not recommend. After we described our son’s symptoms she said- Well what do YOU think he has? Made our concerns seem irrational.

Dr. Bosworth was absolutely terrible. She did not listen to my husband and I. She interrupted me each time I would start to talk or ask a question. She was very condescending and rude and treated us like we were complete idiots. We got the impression she felt as though she was completely wasting her time with us.
