I was looking forward to seeing Dr. Kasello as her information said that she specialized in menopause and perimenopause. I wanted to share my concerns, and she was very curt and dismissive. I had to have a biopsy done, which is very painful. I was extremely uncomfortable, and she never said anything. She was very cold and uncaring. I would never go back to her again.

My experience was terrible, I heard Dr. Kasello was one of the best that’s why I wanted to see her but instead she let inexperienced practitioner to do the IUD on me which end it up been loose and lost. When I confronted her she said she will do it again at the end she was rude.

You can schedule an appointment with the call center pretty easily, but she rushes through appointments and talks fast like your questions are beneath her—sorry I would like more explaining if you’re going to cut me. Very difficult to work with her direct staff. Not even sure if she’s the problem or they are. It’s a revolving door—you’re just a number. They don’t care about you; just billing your insurance.

Believe the bad reviews
This was one of the worst experiences with a dr that I’ve had in quite a while and this was my first, and will be my only, appointment with her. Do not go see her if you’re in perimenopause. Also don’t go see her if you have done any kind of research into your symptoms or plan to be prepared for your visit with test results, questions, or anything that hints that you’re not going to be railroaded. She’s dismissive at best, argumentative, condescending, inattentive, and an extremely poor listener. After explaining my symptoms and everything I’ve done prior to the appointment she continued to argue with me and basically told me I’m just not trying hard enough. I can’t believe I’m going to have a bill for this absolute waste of my time.

Quality care
Dr. Kasello is extremely passionate, she delivers high quality care and compassion throughout her appointments and surgeries. I truly believe she saved my life a few years ago when I needed an emergency surgery and have been seeing her as my doctor ever since and I will not go to another OBGYN besides her!

Poor listener
I met with Dr. Kasello last year and found that she didn't give good warning before beginning her internal exam. I also got an abnormal pap smear result that I was concerned about because of medication that I am on. She was dismissive of my questions about the results without actually answering the questions. I am also transgender and felt that she did not handle trans-affirming care well, so it was an overall uncomfortable experience.

Overall a terrible experience. I felt very judged by her, and she told me birth control was my only option rather than exploring the cause of my symptoms. She kept trying to make me get an IUD, which I was clear I didn’t want. I told her I have also had bad reactions to multiple different birth control pills, but again she told me I can either take birth control or just suffer. She was very aggressive and rough with me when doing my exam, I was sore for days afterwards and experienced bleeding due to the trauma inflicted from her rough pelvic exam. I told her I don’t have sex regularly, and her response was “It only takes one time to get pregnant, which i’m SURE you already know”. I agreed finally to taking a birth control pill because I was so uncomfortable and she was making me feel very bad about myself, and no surprise it made me violently ill. I left the office and immediately began crying i. my car because I felt so violated and was so frustrated with not being taken seriously.

Arrogant
She’s fine until she doesn’t agree with you. I felt pushed into an iud swap when I just wanted the old one removed. Didn’t listen, didn’t get my entire health history. Didn’t read the chart either. During the swap it hurt a lot more than my first did, and she wasn’t talking me through it. It was clear I was in pain, I couldn’t breathe right. I stopped the procedure before the new one was placed. I wasn’t doing this to myself again when this one needed to be removed. She opened the packaging already and that set her off. She was rude and treated me like an idiot, demanding to know what kind of birth control I’d be using then. I said I wasn’t having sex (no partner currently) and she snapped back asking why I wanted to be on birth control then. With 3 other employees in the room, and I’m half naked with a thin paper sheet. It was insulting, humiliating and I already felt embarrassed, but needed to choose what was right for me.

Red flags
My most recent appointment with Dr Kasello had red flags from start to finish. She was very curt, and dismissed my pelvic pain even during the exam. I yelped and she did not react or ask me what hurt or order any imaging. She recommended herbal supplements that interact with the hormonal birth control that I use (which is recorded in my chart and had been part of our discussions every visit). She suggested I stop the birth control to see what happens, I reminded her that I have PCOS and take the birth control to manage my symptoms and her response was "I think you have hypothalamic amenorrhea" with no explanation or reasoning for why, as my chart also has blood work that confirmed my PCOS diagnosis. (I am small but my BMI is in the normal range so I felt judged by that assumption.) She reiterated that pelvic pain is vague and it's hard to tell what causes it and so I just have to deal with it apparently. She gave some really harmful advice.

First met Dr Kasello about 6 or 7 years ago and am very glad I decided to change gynecologists, I think the world of her. Due to ovarian cancer in my family, she has been through, patient, caring and comforting. Dr. Kasello should be highly recommended.

Blindsided by her having a very inexperienced student do my exam and pap test when I had only agreed to having her in the room during exam. Insurance denied payment because of the code she used and when I went in to have it corrected she got all snarky about it and huffed about trying to find the right code. As of now the code is still not being accepted and nobody at HQ is offering to be very helpful about fixing the problem. Miss my former doc there (retired) who actually cared.

Dr. Kasello is a brilliant doctor. She's professional and I trust her ability completely. I was extremely sick and Dr. Kasello performed emergency surgery on me, which was very complicated and she successfully managed to save my life. Thank you Dr. Kasello from the bottom of heart, because of you, I have a second chance to keep making memories with my family & friends.

This doctor is the most unprofessional, uncaring and cruelest doctor I have ever met. When she did my internal she jammed her fingers so hard and deep inside me, she almost touched my tonsils! I screamed and started to cry and almost jumped off the exam table. She didn't consoled me or even offered me a tissue to to dry my face. I will never go back to her!

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Kasello and her office. I waited an hour to be seen, and when Dr came in she could barely say hello to me and didn't even apologize for being late. This was my first time seeing her and she was overall cold and didn't listen to my concerns. She tried to drastically change my contraception plan and then tried to diagnose me with conditions outside of the OB/GYN realm.
