The WORST!
If I could give her 0 stars, I would. She was insulting and legitimately laughed at me. I’m surprised at just how awful of an experience it was.

Do not expect much!
She is not friendly and is very dismissive. I have asked her to help me get something approved by my insurance and has refused to do it. I had to go through a telehealth service and pay a lot of more when it would have taken her 2 minutes to do it.

Dr. Walewicz might be fine for the average person
The problem with endocrinology is that is very complex. Each person is different and a careful and thoughtful approach is needed to address sometimes complicated problems such as hypothyroidism. Dr. Walewicz does not show the willingness to consider or research special cases or new therapies after first line treatments have failed.

Borderline negligent
Was referred by pcp for an endocrine panel and new patient with an autoimmune disease. It had been months since blood work was done and never a full thyroid /hormone panel. This doc went off old ths blood work results, an archaic old move and that was it. Then they tried to sell me weight loss drugs exceeding 1500$ a month which is just a band aid for a symptom and not treatment of the cause. This lady spent the majority of the office visit trying to sell me weight loss medication which does nothing to address the actual issue of a faulty thyroid. Any endocrinologist knows that just because the hormones are floating around and testable in the blood doesn't mean your body is using it. She also never made a recommendation for something to calm down my over active immune system. Over all, she walked a fine line of borderline NEGLIGENCE. I don't know how she is able to practice as an endocrinologist to be honest. I cannot recommend this person. Horrifying experience.

I will not be going back to this doctor. Her nurse that attended me was SO nice. As was the staff. They even helped her me seen in 5 days vs the Oct appt. they initially proposes. I was grateful and had the highest expectations up until then. I had called the office because I had my thyroid removed haven't been right since and was finally at my wit's end. When the doctor came into the room she seemed nice. She ask me to tell her from what brought me in. However when I tried to tell her she would cut me off and say "very good" and continued to do so much that I just want gave up on telling her. She treated me like a number and told me nothing useful and/or offered a differential diagnosis or educated guess. I felt so let down and depressed after the appointment. I felt like she thought I was a waste of time. At the end of our visit she wanted me to give blood but her lab tech was backed up and I was so thankful because I didn't want to interact with her again

After 13 years with T1D, Dr. Walewicz is by far the best doctor I have had. She is the perfect mix between a little tough love and understanding that I need in an Endo. I'd recommend her highly.

Dr Walewicz is the best Endocrinologist that I have been treated by. She is very thorough, personable and takes the time to explain the reasons behind her recommendations. I feel very secure in her care and would wish to continue with her.

I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. She was very condescending and rude. She was not willing to listen to me, or discuss the information I had researched prior to my visit. Treated me like an imbecile. She only wants patients to listen to how great she says she is. she has cut me off when I was talking and dismissed any of my concerns. When you go to a specialist you expect to be heard and to be given alternatives to making you feel better. I am very disappointed, Do not waste your time

Dr Walewicz works at a great location - easy to get to, easy to get in & out. She is a good listener and is willing to consider various treatment options, but not at the expense of patient care. She has a great sense of humor, puts patient at ease, and is a joy to converse with. A great find!
