I went into labor the night before my csection. I arrived at Women & Babies Hospital after midnight. Dr May was on call. Her response was,”It’s better she wait for her doctor.” It was 7:00 am before Dr Ruszak showed up. At that point, my uterus thinned out and ripped from being in labor so long during the csection. Blood vessels weren’t sutured off properly. I ended up with two postpartum hemorrhages, a trip back to OR (72 hours later), and finally to the ICU after 11 units of blood being transfused between the two hemorrhages. Worst yet, an gynecologist/oncologist was called into to perform a hysterectomy against my will while I was in surgery the second time due to the extent of the surgical trauma. Gynecology/onc was able to salvage my uterus. All this started because Dr May wouldn’t come to assist me or at least notify Dr Ruszak that I was in labor within a reasonable amount of time. The happiest moment of my life has turned into a traumatic memory because of these two doctors.

Dr May was friendly and competent. Her staff on the other hand is rude and careless. They called my home phone 15 minutes prior to my appt to let me know that Dr May needed to reschedule. They had my mobile number, never used it and oh btw, I was sitting in their office waiting room at the exact same time. I learned they called when I returned home. Front office staff saw me waiting for an hour and did nothing, I sent forms to have my files sent to new provider and 3 mon later, still not done.

Dr. May delivered my son by c-section in 2015. Her professionalism and caring during the entire ordeal was great. I trusted her in helping me make the best decisions for our health and well being and she has remained someone I trust for my second pregnancy. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an honest, forthright physician who puts the health of patient and baby above all.

Went here for second opinion and was real impressed at first till it took them forever to get my test results back to me, I got my lab bill before my test results , and I called and called for them till my last call I said I was going back to my recent doctor then they got on the ball with my test results , so needless to say I'd rather have a doctor who is always on top of things and shows you they truly care about you etc... so that's why I'm going back Maygrant ,

I have been with this practice for 10 years and my experience went from great (most visits with Cherie Gard) to a steady decline towards terrible. I recently had a diagnostic procedure and the nurse called to inform me of results and was unable to answer my questions over the course of two phone calls. I was then scheduled for another procedure and had two different appointments with Dr. May. My questions were not easily answered, and her lack of professionalism was astounding.
