Dr. Douglas Adkisson, MD

Dr. Adkisson was very interested in hearing my concerns. He seemed deeply interested in my case and gave me his undivided attention. He explained everything in detail.

It is great to have a doctor who cares and listens and never makes you feel rushed. His knowledge and explanations of your case are given on your level. You feel save being his patient because he explains every question and tells you what to expect so you don’t have to worry about things happening before your next visit. He has a talent for putting you at ease right away so you can relax and listen and retain what he explains about your treatment. I don’t know many doctors who can do this. It makes a big difference in the process of healing. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great doctor. I am so grateful that he is my heart doctor. Heart problems are so serious that your heart doctor is the most important doctor that you have. I am lucky that Dr Adkisson is my doctor.

Dr Adkisson is one of the best Drs I have. He takes time to listen and tells you wanted wrong in people terms. He stays up on current medication and procedures. So he know what to do next. He’s just a great heart Doctor.

I really like Dr. Adkisson, he's very friendly and easy to talk to. He explains things to where I can understand it. I've been having heart issues all my life and never knew what was going on but he has found the problem and is helping me keep a close eye on it. I don't always like the long drive to Nashville but I get to see him at his Parsons office winch helps.

Dr. Adkisson TRULY cares about me and it shows. He has gone above and beyond to research exactly what med I could use to work for me, listens to me when I talk instead of brushing me off or RUSHING off himself, discusses with me the different interventions possible, takes into account what I think and feel, but, ultimately, I bow to what he thinks best because I TRUST him! So thankful he is my heart doctor! I would EXTREMELU recommend him to anyone in need of a Heart Doctor!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Adkisson. I was admitted through the ED with heart failure and he was on call and I'm so grateful! Both he and his NP, Stephen, were amazing, they spent time talking with both me and my husband and explaining things. Although I work in health care, it's a different matter when it comes to you! They understood that and I reccommend him highly.
