Dr. Douglas Beckwith, MD

Very attentive, not rushed. Only problem is he didn’t try to find the source of my chronic pain and fatigue problem just told me to exercise more and lose weight. Uhh…ok but I’ve had this problem for YEARS even when I was textbook perfect weight and involved in lots of physical activities. It’s a large part of WHY I am chunky and operate on the spoon system. Long story short, I went to another doctor who FINALLY fixed the problem with simple medications.

Dr Beckwith. He needs to come back to work . We miss him. No-one said Dr Beckwith had to speak a foreign language.He is an original country doctor that makes you feel relaxed . He knows his medicine. I love his personality.Will be missed

Never met a more unresponsive front desk staff and office manager. Had to call five times in two and a half weeks to ask a question about my wellness exam results, a very simple question, and no one would return my call. A lot of excuses each time I left a message as to why no one returned my call but no one could answer my question. I've seen the doc twice in three years due to being a healthy individual but he and his staff make a poor impression. I expected more from someone who graduated later in life. Usually those folks have a higher sense of responsibility to their late chosen profession

It has been nearly 10 years and the memory I have of Beckwith still makes me cringe knowing that he is still practicing Family Medicine. He has zero bedside manners to anyone of color or any other ethnic background whose native language isn’t English. My only memory of him is a painful one - he up and left during my father’s medical assessment because he grew frustrated and tired of waiting for me to translate his needs into English. Terrible, elitist “doctor” with zero empathy or patience.

Five years ago I was having health issues and Dr. Beckwith diagnosed my issues as a cardiovascular and neurological. He scheduled appointments with Dr. Jiho Han for my heart and Dr. Harold Young for a possible neurological tumor. My issues ended up being a heart valve and spinal cord tumor. Both required surgery and significant rehabilitation. Thanks to Dr. Beckwith's knowledge and referrals, I am living the life today.

He is not a good doctor. I asked him to sign paper work for me to get back into work and he was unprofessional and told me to get out of his office and go else where. All because he does not like to sign paper work. I do not recommend him to anyone.

We are new patients and could not be more pleased. We had the same Dr for 37 years and he is retiring, so we were nervous changing Drs. dr Beckwith made us feel at ease. We have made a great choice.
