Simply the Best!!!
I have known Dr. Dennis for thirty years as a patient. His knowledge, skill, compassion, and warm personality has lent enormous comfort to me over the many years he has managed my extremely complicated hip issues.Dr. Dennis LISTENS. His main concerns are the patient's situation and how he can lend his extraordinary talents to address the physical as well as the emotional trauma of orthopedic complications. There is no one I would trust more to care for me. My extreme issues are never beyond Dr. Dennis's capability. He has the problem-solving ability, years of experience, and incredible knowledge that anyone who has hip or knee problems can rely upon 100%.I dread the day he retires!

Total Disorganization
This office is so slow, the doctor didn’t show up for an hour. He didn’t respect me as a patient. He could remember why I was there and didn’t set it up with his MA. I waited a month to hear back and when I call Francesa , she said he did tell her to get a prior authorization. I was there for two hours to be told I need a knee replacement whenever! I will never go back.

Horrible follow up care. There was no plan to get healthy after a total knee. I would never recommend Dr Dennis and team to a friend.

Dr. Dennis is a consummate professional with a caring bedside manner that ensues from genuine empathy. After having a pair of knee replacements I can only say I wish I had done it sooner. Knee pain prevented me from crossing the street when our puppy followed an older dog, and a speeding careless driver ran him down when he ran back toward me. I now realize that had I had the benefit of Dr. Dennis's services a couple of years earlier my puppy would still be with us. The hype about knee surgery being so awful doesn't apply to Dr. Dennis and his staff, who command a separate wing of Porter Hospital safe and secure from Covid exposure. They are the best.

Diasterous surgery with Dennis, installed defective part, then was dishonest and dimissive about. Read Knee Surgery magizine on Depuey device. It deboneded from tibial head due to defect, had to have knee replaced as did many by UCH. He just did not care he consulted for Depuey. A nightmare, was extremely athletic. Huge impact on my life!

My husband and I both had knee replacements in 2017. I waited to post a review to see how we would be doing We are both doing great! We are back to all the activities we were doing before our knees started falling apart and it's wonderful. My husband is a physician and has recommended Dr. Dennis for years and when it came time for us to go, that's where we went. My knee is great and I am so glad I had the procedure done. Unfortunately, my husband will probably be back for the other knee pretty soon. I have to say thought, the first month or so was pretty painful, but now it was all worth it.

Dr. Dennis used the wrong size spacer in my total knee replacement. He used an 8mm spacer and I had constant problems. I finally saw a new physician when I could no longer take a step without my knee dislocating. I needed revision surgery to replace the 8mm with a 12mm spacer - 1.5 times the size of the one Dennis used. Inexcusable.

Dr. Dennis replaced each of my hips in 2013 and 2014. The results are terrific. I walk, hike, ride bikes and enjoy other activities without pain. I see Jim Boyle for the annual follow-up appointments and Jim is wonderful. So is Dr. Dennis. I feel very fortunate that I selected Dr. Dennis as my surgeon. An added note: I did all of the pre-surgery and post-surgery exercises, which helped my recovery.

3 surgeries with him: 2 hips that are great and a knee that doesn't bend. There are things that can be done about this; I wish he'd given me those options. My physical life is severely compromised. My leg was numb when I awoke from the replacement, and it remains so 10 years later. Dennis said he accepted a neurologists's finding that it was a tourniquet accident, then told my insurance company he thought my back was the problem. Denied insurance. Very unethical doctor. CYA all the way.

I have just recently undergone a total knee replacement surgery on 1/30/17 by Dr. Dennis and his team. Because of my fear of going to the doctor and especially the thought of surgery I waited till I absolutely couldn't take the pain any longer. Through recommendations of friends and church members who had Dr. Dennis and all having excellent experiences I chose Dr. Dennis as my surgeon. My experience is the same as the others. Dr. Dennis and his team and Porter Hospital are outstanding!

I'm a Nurse so I'm on my feet all the time. I've had both of my knees replaced approx 14 months apart. Dr Dennis is a very intelligent surgeon with a exceptional bedside manner. From my very 1st appointment, when I was in excuruating daily pain to my last 6 month/ 1yr follow up. Dr Dennis sat down & truely listened to my concerns before & after both of my surgeries. I would recommend him to my family or colleagues if they needed knee replacements. ??

Extremely thorough and a great staff to back him up! I feel so fortunate. My knee was replaced three weeks ago, and I'm doing wonderfully since I am following his recommendations. Porter Hospital is exceptionally clean, welcoming, and even great food. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dennis!

Dr Dennis and his entire staff were very professional and well organized. All of my appointments, to include my surgical appointment was on time or earlier. He ensured that I was completely comfortable with the procedure and that all of my questions were answered. He and his staff provided me with a fool proof plan to prepare me for a successful surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Dennis to anyone in need of joint replacement.

I arrived early for my2:00 appt and previously filled out the paperwork. It started out to be a positive experience (Jonathan at the front desk was very pleasant)! That's where is stopped though. After waiting 35 mins to be taken into an exam room, I waited another hour and twenty mins. for Dr. Dennis. He did his assessment of my knees, which took maybe 15 min. He made several comments about being morbidly obese. Regardless of that, his manner of telling me was rude and not beneficial!
