Wonderful
My visit with Dr Diekvers was wonderful. He was polite, friendly, kind, and attentive. He was succinct and efficient without being rude or brushing me off. He was observant and went above and beyond noticing an improper brace fitting that had been done at a previous appointment. He explained things clearly and I felt like he was actually talking with me and not at me. I was honestly surprised by his treatment after experiencing the exact opposite the day before with a diff doctor. While I don’t want to need to see him, I feel reassured that when the occasion comes up that I do , I will be taken well take care of.

Fantastic Doctor!
Doctor Diekevers is a fantastic doctor. I am a professional drummer and I beat the heck out of my feet daily. Dr. Diekevers rescued me on three separate occasions when I was in so much pain I could barely walk. I am very grateful to him and highly recommend him!! Thank you Dr. Diekevers

Many years ago, he performed a cheilectomy - I think that's what it was called - he ground the bone spurs off - procedure on my right big toe. Initailly the surgery was a flop. He left a bone chip in there. My option was to get cut again to remove the chip or get some injections. I was anxious to get back to work. So they did some injections of some sort to buffer the bone chip. The injections worked eventually. In hindsight, I wish he had cut the chip out. It took a long time for the pain to subside. But the end result has been favorable.

This is an update to a review I left on October 31, 2016. I've lived with my repaired foot now for 18 months. I'd say the results are adequate, but not great. There is no pain, but I've been concerned that my toe is still at an angle and I'm getting pain in other toes. I visited Dr. Diekevers who said that maybe my bunion was coming back. Hmmm. I wonder if the fuller procedure would have been better. I also find him to be a bit cold, I'm not sure about his empathy, he seems to be a big ego.

This is an amazing dr. with very shady billing practices. He refused to allow my chiro order my shoe inserts (at an $80 out of pocket cost) and made me come see him. After asking multiple times that my benefits be checked before ordering my inserts they went ahead and ordered them anyways and stuck me with a $600 bill. they told me they would call me before ordering then claimed they "made a mistake" and forgot to verify benefits but I'm still responsible or they will send me to collections.

I visited three doctors regarding a problem bunion on my left foot. Dr. Diekevers recommended a less-radical surgery than the others (z-bunion), explained it well, and I had outpatient surgery at the Presence facility on Surf. Everything went extremely well with the doctor and the hospital. So far, I am very pleased with the results. The surgical and recovery pain was relatively benign. I would recommend Dr. Diekevers.

Went to him to get a wart removed on the bottom of my foot. The first visit had a $50 copay. He gave me an option to get it removed on a separate visit at a different location or take heart burn medicine and apply a topical solution. I chose the latter on his recommendation thinking it would be less invasive. It didn't work. They wanted me to come back for another visit (another $50) to see that it didn't work and schedule another appointment and go with the first option ($50 more). Crook!
