Dr. Gray had been following my ascending aneurysm for nearly 5 years. Then he let me know it was time for surgery. He was so professional and confident and made me feel confident in him as my surgeon. The surgery was a success! With a new Hemashield graft aorta and an amazing minimal scar after open heart surgery and bypass. I highly recommend Dr. Grey, he’s the best!! Thank you with all my heart.??

Dr Gray is a very skilled surgeon!
9 years ago I experienced an emergency AAA. 9 out of 10 people usually die. I was lucky enough to have Dr. Douglas Gray as my cardiac surgeon. He saved my life! I'm now 72 and so far, I've have 9 years more of life that I would have never experienced without his mans expert intervention. I owe my life to Dr. Gray! As far as I'm concerned, he's the very best surgeon I could have had and I would recommend to him to anyone! I was so lucky that he was on call when the ambulance brought me to Parkview hospital. It ended up that I had a two and a half centimeter tear in my lower aorta.I just had it an appointment with Dr. Gray the other day. What a great guy! He even mentioned to me that the operation was a very satisfying experience for him as well. He's a man of honor, integrity and an amazing individual with a positive outlook! Thank you, Sir!

Aortic valve replace, triple bypass
Not the first surgeon I sawI pissed the first one offMade same comments to Gray and he chuckled. Self confident took his time explained everything including the odds. 7 hr surgery 4 yrs ago. Standing in Walmart 5 days after being split open walking 6 miles 2 weeks later stopped pain meds 2 days after surgery. Would have liked to visit with him a little more but he is probably very busy.

Open Heart Surgery Triple Bypass and new valve
Doctor Gray explained everything in layman’s terms and answered all my questions in my first visit. I had a triple ByPass and a new Aortic Valve. During my 7 day hospital stay he visited me personally and always answered all my questions. He did not mind that I always had questions. His bed side manners are superb. I would say he deserves a 10 in a 5 star rating. I highly recommend him to anyone needing Cardiovascular surgery . If he can not help you he will tell you. Otherwise he will explain your options to you. I feel he saved my life and even though I’m 77 I feel he gave me a new lease on life so I can continue to work. My new valve should give me another 25 years which should be enough time for me to continue helping my clients.

It took Dr. Gray over an hour to come into the exam room (no, he was NOT in surgery). The nurse told me it would be just a little while, but it was 75 minutes later before I was seen. No one even checked on me, or told me what was going on, until I peaked my head out. When Dr. Gray arrived in the exam room, he basically blew off my medical issue and said I should see an ENT, after I told him I had seen an ENT when I had my origional surgery 20+ years ago. There is much more to write about, but..
