Dr. Douglas Hess, MD

Dr. Hess saved my wife’s life…period. He put her at ease with his demeanor and saved her from having to go through unnecessary procedures that other doctors maintained were vital. We are blessed to have met this man, So much so that we traveled out of state to Wood County Hospital for him to perform the delicate and difficult colon surgery and intestinal repositioning. Kathy had several scars across her abdomen from previous surgeries which made the procedure even more intense. Scar tissue tends to stick to organs and other scar tissue and Dr. Hess meticulously untangled the mess through the 4-5 hours it took to complete. Our advice to anyone who has had the daylights scared out of them by other doom and gloom surgeons is to make an Appointment with Dr. Hess.
