Best Doctor Ever.
I went to Dr Potoczak for years. I had a horrible debilitating disorder. He was the only doctor who told me the truth. I went to Cleveland Clinic for months and they only made me worse. I have never found another doctor I trust. God bless you Dr. Potoczak.

Time well spent.
This Doctor goes out the way to spend time and discuss things with me. I can understand why he sometimes runs behind (like all doctors do), it is because he is being personal with his patients. Health offices for the physicians to schedule X number of visits per hour/per day. I am guessing it is 4 per hour - do the math, that is not a productive amount of time to spend with your doctor. But Dr. P always spends plenty of time talking to me and educating me. I think he is a great and helpful person and physician.

Dr Potoczak has been my physician for probably more than twenty years. I had to switch one time because my insurance changed. I started paying out of pocket to be able to go back and see him until I could switch my insurance back. He’s a great doctor! He’s always spent time listening to my concerns and addressing them. He’s very knowledgeable and always has good solutions for treatment. He’s never made me feel rushed or pressured. His staff has always been pleasant and caring. I really respect and admire him. He’s a great roll model in our community.

I'd say he's going through the motions. Probably a fine doctor for basic maintenance and minor problems. Does not possess the ability to coordinate and monitor higher complexity issues or critical care. Guessing he's not up to date with the new solutions. And probably doesn't have the desire or time to improve his knowledge and skills, especially geriatric care. I'd say flu shots, physicals, "aches & pains" and other basics are his specialty. Wouldn't trust him for anything but light medicine.

While Dr Potoczak is a good doctor, his staff is a nightmare. Twice I was left alone in the waiting area, totally forgotten. When I told Dr Potoczak, he didn't believe it. They are chronically behind; plan on waiting for at least an hour or more. He is also very overtly political; much of it displayed on waiting area bulletin boards. I stopped going there entirely.

Thought he would be my doctor for the rest of my life,,until he has me down on all my medical records as being a high risk medication use, which I'm not at all!!!!I now have degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis and bulging disc's in my back and cannot be treated because of his ignorance!!
