Dr. Spaeth was very dismissive and condescending during a recent overnight visit to the ER with my 13-mo old, managing to both insult my abilities as a mother and dismiss the concerns that led us to the ER in the first place. He did, however, remind me multiple times (after our 3 hour wait to see him) just how "busy" he and the nursing staff was. As I am not a first time mother, this was a terrible reflection of the level of care my family has come to expect from the OhioHealth Shelby facility.

I felt like he would rather have been anywhere other than in that room with me. He even seemed to mock my description of the pain I was feeling. He seemed like a very conceited man in general.
