Nice Doctor but Horrible Receptionist! RUDE, BRASH, DISMISSIVE & INCOMPETENT! Lied that clinic never received any emails from me when I have delivered receipt and attorney was cc'd. Lied that claim info was not available to the clinic when I sent it on 8/9/2022 & 8/11/2022. Accused me of sending to wrong email, Lied that no ins. Info was provided when i emailed all info & Ins company had me on the phone while they were trying to call ur office to get quick notes from doc.Clinic never returned ins call from last week then when pressed she said forms R going out today while I sit here in pain. This Receptionist needs further bedside training and at least fake being nice while at work and on phone with patients! I'm having 2nd thoughts because I would not want to deal with this should I require surgery! I am not a TEST SUBJECT! I am a Human Patient with legitimate pain issue and as much as I like Berkowitz, this kind of behavior makes me want to switch doctors & makes him look BAD!!!

Shelby called my phone to clear me for surgery. After 7 months of trauma and pain I’m not ok but I’m surviving a Shelby wen I told her I didn’t have transportation after my accident to go park slope told me that’s none of her concern or business and to figure it out. I told her not to call me. I don’t like Her attitude have someone else call she called my phone back to remind me that I got “the wrong one” then text me very disrespectfully that my surgery is now canceled. Wen I called to find out WHYYYY my surgery was canceled I was told by KATE that there’s no funding for my surgery and I threatened her employee which is unacceptable. Shelby NEVER ADMITTED she antagonized me after I checked her attitude. I didn’t ask her to work here she chose to her attitude isn’t my concern I shouldn’t have to deal w the added stress. And I spoke to my lawyer we have funding and will be doi my surgery elsewhere Thanks Dr Berkowitz

2hr wait to see any patient, the front desk is rude as hell.

Dr. Berkowitz is very sufficient and really takes his time with dealing with his patients. He takes his time and explains every detail of your situation. He makes you feel secure and I won't change him for nothing in this world. HE'S THE BEST!!!!!
