Tested but did not read the results.
This provider took a wound culture - but took it after anti-biotics had been administered (claiming falsely that he took it before) - when the patient had a positive result - that patient was not notified of the result nor did any provider over the next five weeks make note of the result. This provider did not prescribe any medication as his hospital and a State investigator confirmed - but falsely claimed to the State and in the medical record that the patient was non-compliant (with the medication that had not been prescribed on the dates in question. He fictionalized meeting with the patient. He fictionally claimed the patient had an 'orthotic foot device' something the patient never had. Fictionally claimed there was no swelling (because the provider was not even present when he wrote a fake account having been there on the first night.) The lack of honesty was so frequent and 3 of the visits he wrote about did not even occur. This nearly cost me my life and has hurt me deeply.

Excellent Doctor!
This Doctor could not have been more professional- not only did he take the time to review all of my options but he actually listened to me and treated me with the upmost respect. In regard to the previous reviews- Dr. Bekins took several precautions to test for infection and mitigate any chance of further infection.

Didn't read the note from the x-ray person - who related that an x-ray is not going to rule out an infection - if it is in the skin and if it is a recent infection its not going to show it in the bone - because there is no time yet for it to have decayed - basic stuff he should have known. An MRI was needed - or even if he had just read the lab from the ER visit which showed I had a staph infection. I am lucky to be alive after this - and no, I'm not in one piece anymore thanks to this so-called doctor.

Had a frightening experience with this doctor. I believe a mere google search or look on the website under his name will provide more information. I would advise anyone with a concern about an infection to please avoid this provider and to ask for all records of one's labs and to not take his word for it if he says that they all looked good.
