Irresponsible doctor!
Not only did he mis-diagnosis my dad, he also didn’t recognize that his GFR (lab test that indicates kidney function) was indicative of stage 3 kidney disease for MONTHS. He never scheduled routine scans or test that are required for people over the age of 50, prescribed my dad medication that was supposed to be for a different patient, and never did medication reconciliation after my dad was in the hospital.

Dr. Moncrief provides comfortable and courteous medical service but is trapped in a very nonuser friendly support system. Office clerical staff is not, they are rude and confrontational, make up answers, render medical opinions, have a robot phone system that seems to be in charge...system reminds you repeatedly to make appointments that you already have while at the same time reminds you to attend the appointment you are being reminded to make, will not work with local drug stores on refills, nurse never answers phone just the robot putting you in line for contact tomorrow even when returning a phone call that you don't know the importance of. Does not know why their office called you. Makes no allowances for senior citizens with hearing loss. Clerical staff has very high opinion of themselves and wish to deny you medical services rather than fix problems.

Dr. Moncrief is a fantastic doctor. He listens to his patients and takes a genuine interest in their concerns. However, the staff there, especially his nurse that handles medication refills, is far less accommodating, to the point that she is rude and disrespectful. I would love to continue to see Dr. Moncrief, however, because his nurse I won't be returning.

I went to Dr. Fields since she started the practice. Switched to Dr. Moncrief when Dr. Fields left. I absolutely love him! He listens, understanding, and if something doesn't work he will find a way to get you better.
